A Program Coordinator's role is to oversee the hub activities, organise our group outings and generally have a great time with all of the amazing people we support. The role would be 25 hours per week (casual) with the potential to grow. You will also have the opportunity to join in on the weekend outings. ... 18.01.2022 BUDDIES C.A.N DELIVER! With the famous Buddies Kitchen Program not running at the moment we thought we could keep it warm for you all (literally), put it to good use and help people in need while these restrictions are in place. With the money raised by other Hub Activities over the past 12 months, we have purchased all the ingredients to make yummy and nutritious meals for our Buddies Community. Even though during this time we need to be away from each other, ordering a Bu...ddies C.A.N Deliver meal means that we can all still sit at the table (or couch ) and enjoy a meal with your Buddies . With the current climate surrounding COVID-19, the NDIS has introduced a lot more flexibility with Core support funding. We will utilise this flexibility in addition to our money raised from previous fund raising efforts for this service which means that you will not be out of pocket! We will be starting our first delivery next Tuesday, the 31st March. Please call the Hub on 03 5333 7359 if you would like meal assistance! (Please advise if there are any allergies)

14.01.2022 Another successful week with 350 meals and 50 treat bags from Buddies C.A.N Deliver meal packages! This weeks menu is vegetarian lasagne with broccoli and beans, shepherds pie, roast pork with potatoes beans peas and corn, fried rice with chicken bacon and veg, Lamb shank soup, chicken carbonara pasta, beef and mushroom stew with sweet potato mash... YUM!! It was so great to be greeted by all your smiling faces and all the positive comments, ... I feel connected to the hub Its like eating at a restaurant everyday Just to mention a couple. This weeks menu included chicken Schnitzel with peas, corn and carrots, turkey filo pie with beans and broccoli, pastrami roast with cabbage, peas and roasted sweet potato, tuna mornay with rice, sausages with mash and veggies, chicken and corn soup and bolognese with penne pasta. It was great to see you all today and how excited you guys were and your beautiful fe...edback was truely magic. Please find a guide of services below: - 1:1 Supports: OPEN! - Hub Programs: OPEN! - Hub Activities: CLOSED We are still well and truly OPEN and are here to support our Buddies Community in any way we can during this difficult time. In addition to continuing our 1:1 supports, we are working hard to contact each and every one of our participants via phone to check-in and offer further support and we will continue to offer this ongoing support to anyone who would like it. 10.01.2022 Fun Friday’s are back! And today we had a Halloween theme. We decorated scary cookies, eyeball throwing competition, scull golf, horror movie trivia, and of coarse the pumpkin piñata. Thank you to all that helped make and decorate the hub. A great effort to dress up, you all looked awesome and very scary! Thanks everyone for a very fun time. Happy Halloween

05.01.2022 Rain, hail or shine we are here for you! We braved the Ballarat weather today to deliver 378 meals and 54 treat bags of golf balls with Buddies C.A.N Deliver meal packages! This weeks menu included: Butter chicken with rice, bacon and zucchini frittata with beans and carrots, roast beef with mash potato, broccoli, carrots and gravy, beef lasagna with broccoli and beans, vegetable curry with chick peas and cous cous, chicken noodle soup and beef chow mien with green beans an...d carrots Delicious! It is always great to be so welcomed by all of you each week and the gratitude makes our Buddies family so rewarding. A special thank you to Brigitte for my beautiful and very practical hand knitted gloves. They really helped keep me warm today We had the privilege to ride in the bus with Constable T.Bear today, not only to make you smile but to pay our respects, thoughts and thanks to Victoria Police for their service and keeping us all safe. Choose a horse on our racing track, human horse racing, fashions on the field, my very favourite the catwalk moves, bingo, creative jockey outfit and of course the piñata.
