22.01.2022 We are currently seeking a Librarian to keep our music scores in good order. This would require about 2 hours on our rehearsal night, currently on a Monday at M...ountain Creek State High School. Some knowledge of music would help but is not vital. 16.01.2022 Excellent to be back to rehearsals now on Monday evenings at 7.00 in Nambour. We are greatly enjoying input from our new MD Peter Blyth. Looking for some players to cover tuba, oboe, bassoon, euphonium and trombone. We can provide an instrument for all these except trombone so please feel free to share or tag this post with anyone who might be interested.... It really is great fun so please get in touch !

13.01.2022 Following something I just listened to on the radio I’d like to start something. At the correct time on Anzac Day (4.28am) I’m going to stand at my front door and play The Last Post and Reveille on the Saxophone. I invite you to encourage anyone you know who plays any instrument to do the same. ... Anzac Day means a lot to a large number of people. Some of them will really miss the Day’s events that are not happening this year so let’s make a big sound for them! PLEASE SHARE.
13.01.2022 Buderim Concert Band will be playing some popular tunes at the Maleny Garden Club Spring Fair this Saturday October 3rd at the Maleny Showgrounds Exhibition area. Come along and enjoy the music and the garden exhibits.

Stop by for a listen and a coffee....... If you’re lucky you’ll hear our Big Hitters (Percussionists) perform with skills rarely seen, as they roll out The Two Imps with alarming ability, accuracy and alacrity!!!!!!
04.01.2022 Buderim Concert Band (BCB) seeks applicants for the position of Musical Director from Feb 2020. Players number 30-35 with a diverse age range. BCB is a community band playing around grade 3 level, with 10-12 functions per year.... MD will Conduct weekly rehearsals on Monday evenings at Mountain Creek State High School 7-9 pm Attend monthly committee meetings Conduct at functions Small honorarium is available for the successful applicant.
