23.01.2022 Pain and what can be done about it

21.01.2022 This post reminded me that I have treated many dancers and in the UK was support to several ballet schools. Take care of your body.

21.01.2022 Some really good insights here by two Sunshine Coast locals

20.01.2022 I read this today and thought, it’s true. As a practitioner we need to give you strategies to help you get better, fix you or refer you to someone who can. You should get better, and see me as and when you need. You rarely need a series of appointments. Fix it in three visits or less. Keep moving everyone and stay dry in this wild wet weather.

19.01.2022 We are launching our Podcast in time to celebrate "World Mental Health Day." Little Grabs takes you behind the scenes into what women talk about and what the...y do not. We aim to lift the veil on taboo subjects and demystify how to be a happy, healthy, functioning female in today’s world. We explore women’s insatiable hunger for life; yes, we want it all! So, what starts and stops us? This series explores the bravery required to connect with our authentic self. It is time to stop hiding and come out of the closet. Listen to our frank conversations as we explore previously untold stories of women’s desires, ambitions and fantasies. Laugh and learn as we share our survival guides on topics such as husband training, family survival techniques and our modern-day guide to etiquette. You will learn about how to be gracious and bold (mastering skills like running in heels). We share our love of life and living big in a world that likes us being small. So welcome and thank you for joining us as we begin our journey - sharing our stories on life...love..and all things fluffy See more

17.01.2022 I got a heads up about this podcast and it sounds really interesting, and I'm looking forward to tuning in and supporting another local Sunshine Coast initiative

16.01.2022 Remember to look after your spine, you only ever get one.

15.01.2022 An interesting read in todays news- worth sharing..."Osteopathy Australia echoed Dr Newman's advice, and said clinicians "are generally concerned about the strain on the upper back for those large-breasted women who are unsupported". Is it OK to ditch the bra when you work in an office? Illustration of woman holding her bra. You don't know frustration until you try and untwist a bra strap through your shirt. It's part of the reason I decided to try going bra-free, which was e...asy except for one place. Read more "For some women, their bust and cup size simply requires them to wear a bra because their breasts are too heavy or large to be unsupported," they said. "It may be worthwhile making an appointment with your osteopath to talk about any pain you are experiencing, your posture and how your breasts may impact that, plus how you can best care for them with the clothing you wear."

15.01.2022 These 2 Sunshine Coast ladies are worth listening to

09.01.2022 If you are ever looking for a martial art or activity for your children (before they are old enough for the aikido class) then may I recommend my friend Rafael at Legacy BJJ in Maroochydore. He is fantastic with kids and a brilliant teacher.

06.01.2022 Osteopathy - one human being helping another back to health. I love how Osteopaths are different. I love how they address the root cause of pain, not just the... bit that hurts. I love how they take a detailed and complete medical history. I love how they use their hands to find out where the problems are. I love how they use an intimate knowledge of anatomy to work out why there's pain. I love how they can give a detailed diagnosis. I love how they can deliver fast pain relief. I love how they want to empower the patient. I love how they enable people to help themselves to move and feel better. And I love how Osteopaths care deeply about their patient's health and wellbeing. #osteopathyworks #osteopath #osteopathy #osteopathyforbabies #osteopathyforall #menshealth #womenshealth #seniors #sporty #physicaltherapy
