The buderim rover scout crew has continuousl...y made efforts to find new ways for fundraising, thank to our local community donating 10cent Cans & Bottles to the crew for us to take down to the reverse vending machines to turn into cash for much needed funding! Simply place your cans in the blue 44gallon dums next to our shipping container behide the den.

07.01.2022 What a busy night last night was at the @Buderim Christmas Carols, with heaps of pizzas being sold and a wheelie bin full of cans being cashed in to the Buderim Scout Troop bank account. Great work to all those who were involved in the making of this event!!! You did an amazing job, thank you all so much!!!

04.01.2022 Rover Scouts is open to all young men and women aged 18 to 25. Anyone can become a Rover Scout - there's no need to have had any previous involvement with Scouting, or any prior outdoor activities experience. Rover Scouts are empowered with running their own activities right up to a national level. A local group of Rover Scouts is known as a "Crew" and every Crew is different, tailoring its activities to the requirements of its members. Crews vary in size from a handful of me...mbers to twenty or more. Most Crews meet weekly. The friends you make within this group will be lifelong! Challenging outdoor activities such as bushwalking, canoeing, sailing, caving, ski-touring, canyoning, four-wheel driving, rock-climbing, and scuba diving can all form part of a Rover Scout's calendar. Social activities such as balls, bush dances, harbour cruises, nights out, car rallies, and "Moots" (gatherings of Rover Scouts on a local, national, and sometimes international level) also feature on an active Rover Scout's program. The Rover Scout motto is a simple one - "Service". Rovering helps develop leadership abilities and an appreciation of the value of helping other people through service activities, both within Scouting and in the wider community. There are Rover Scout Crews in all Australian States and Territories as well as many countries throughout the world, offering the opportunity to make great contacts when travelling and take part in international projects.
