Just because we love to over indulge this time of year doesn’t mean our pets have too Fatty & sugary foods, artificial sweeteners, grapes including sultanas & Christmas cake & alcohol can all cause adverse reactions in our pets. Stick to their normal diet, they don’t mind Please also be aware that wrapping paper & ribbons, tree decorations & presents which include batteries can also be a danger to your pet this Christmas

06.01.2022 Some of you might recognise this little guy Jasper.. he quickly made headlines after a snake wrapped itself around him when he was sniffing in the garden in his backyard. 05.01.2022 Sweet little George. At just 5 months old he was presented to us with stiff hind legs. Upon investigation the X-ray images indicated that he has severe hip dysplasia. Hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket that in its severe form can cause lameness and arthritis of the joints. The hip joint functions as a ball and socket. In dogs with hip dysplasia, the ball and socket rub and grind instead of smoothly gliding. Hip dysplasia is hereditary but is especially common in larger dogs. Factors such as excessive growth rate, types of exercise and improper weight and nutrition can magnify this genetic predisposition.
