06.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the traditional Australia Day parade in Burnett Street unfortunately cannot be held. All is not lost though! Buderim will celebrate in a different, but just as meaningful and enjoyable way, this year. The Rotary Club of Buderim is organising a Picnic in the Park to be held on the Buderim Mountain State School oval, commencing at 3pm and running until early evening. The programme involves traditional and contemporary Australian music and bush p...oetry, presented from the picnic stage. Everyone is invited to come along with chairs and/or rugs; enjoy the music and the poetry; have a yarn with their mates and make new friends. Food and drink vendors will be on-site with a range of snacks and dinner food. The BWMCA is one of many community groups who will be there to support the celebration of our national day. Come and say g’day and have a chat with us at the BWMCA marquee family and friends welcome.
