19.01.2022 We like receiving happy mail :-) To Budget Tree Service (we don't use facebook but hope this is ok) I engagaed BTS to chop down a huge gum tree. At one point there were 6 men - great teamwork. Very freindly men and an extremely hot day. I was very happy with the end result and efficient communication at all times. 11.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW? African Tulip trees, whilst beautiful to look at, are actually toxic to native stingless bees and other insects. Budget Tree Service worked in with Fraser Coast Regional Council recently to remove the African Tulip trees situated in Margaret Lin Park in Kawungan, Hervey Bay. African Tulip trees were introduced to Australia and are considered a pest. Council’s first stage in developing an eradication program is to identify the location of any of these trees. Cou...ncil Seymour stated: The trees will then be programmed for removal as part of council's weed management activities. "Council will look to replace them with more appropriate trees. "We would love residents to also remove them from their yards to help stop the spread of the trees and protect native bees. Fraser Coast Regional Council will offer a replacement tree to residents for every African Tulip tree removed. Nathan is one of our adult apprentices who had also gained a background in landscaping prior to joining our team. Both are a valuable asset to our business.
