25.01.2022 This week we delivered on our promise to donate 2 lots of $500 cash to 2 local community groups based on the publics votes! 1st was Jimboomba Gymnastics Club - Mark went and gave them their $500 & 2nd was Beaudesert Swim Club - Kitty went and gave them their $500. Keep voting!! One month from tomorrow would have been the start of the 2020 Beaudesert Show! Unfortunately the event has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Budget Screens, Blinds & Awnings usually has a stand at the show and has also been a sponsor for many years. This year, we decided to still donate money Locally within our community! There are 2 x $500 cash donations up for grabs! What you need to do is write your favourite Local charity, sports group or community group in the comments and encourage the community to like your comment. 03.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we let you all know that our good friend & team member (our sewing lady) Marion passed away last weekend from her 9 year battle with cancer. Marion was part of our team for nearly 7 years - she would come in twice a week to pick up the vertical blades and drop them off. Even though we only saw her for 15mins or so each time, she wore her Budget shirt with pride! Sending love & sympathy to her family at this time In the coming week, we will be planting a tree in her memory in the front garden of the budget factories.
