15.01.2022 What a morning at Daly Waters Pub , we booked another night .

15.01.2022 There's only a few little bits I'd like to change but maybe we'll be back next year when the fish are biting . Thanks to Dave Kenny for a little bit of drone footage .

15.01.2022 Beautiful Red-tailed Black Cockatoos walking around the park this afternoon. Unusual to see them so quiet and approachable .

13.01.2022 Hi all , as previously mentioned , this year we will donating money to Carnaby's Crusaders through the sale of the calendars . We printed 100 Budgie Calendars and 50 of the Cockatiel Calendars , 50 have already been sold so if you would like one get your order in as there's guarantee we will print more this year. 12.01.2022 Nearly done , Rianna has made the final adjustments and hopefully we'll have the calendars printed and a link for purchasing later this week . As much as I love Budgies , I think the Cockatiel Calendar is a ripper ! .

12.01.2022 Someone did mention they spotted Crimson Finches along the river a several weeks ago , I thought I'd caught a glimpse but wasn't really sure . Today they were at the same place I photographed the Gouldians weeks ago .

10.01.2022 I headed out early to take some.pics , may have had a few too many last night , forgot the lense I wanted to use and my kit bag . Got to the river , the lense kept fogging up and the sweat was running in my eyes , still pretty happy with these .54mm on Friday night .

You might remember that my partner and I visited Espernace this year and we were thrilled to see and photograph the Carnaby's near Esperance. We met a fellow in Espernace who owns Esperance Honey , he was so passionate about the wildlife and habitats in the area I thought I would contact him and ask who he thought would be a good cause . 02.01.2022 It's about to get proper hot at Douglas Daly . We'll be back in Alice for 2 weeks in early December then possibly heading to Cooktown Qld for a stint .

02.01.2022 Nailed it !! , after 3 attempts to photograph the Star Finches at Douglas Daly one landed only a few metres away this morning .

02.01.2022 Chasing little birds this morning. Star Finch , Red- backed Fairy Wren , Chestnut breasted Mannikin and Golden Headed Cisticola. Having a few dramas with camera gear, I think the humidity ,heat and low light was causing me some issues .
