20.01.2022 I needed to get my head out of digital-land for a bit so I dusted off the easel and oil paints and started making actual marks on actual paper for the first time in ages. Don’t ask me what this painting is about because I don’t have a clue. 03.01.2022 Been a long time between posts. I had to have a bit of a digital detox. I shut down the screens (except for work) and wiped the years of cobwebs off my oil painting gear and started pushing paint around. I’m crap at it, but I’m having enjoying the process. I guess this one reveals my general mood lately. It’s obviously very different to my fun cartoony surf drawings, which I’m sure I’ll get back to once the creative batteries are recharged.
