25.01.2022 No Monday blues here!! Perfect summer colour combo!

23.01.2022 After a crazy, upside down year, I’m pleased to say I will be returning to salon life next week! The last few months has no doubt been hectic for all of us, and the uncertainty of everything has been challenging and unsettling for all of us. For me, the not knowing had led me to some pretty crappy places over the last year, to the point where I thought I’d give up beauty forever..... But life has a way of bringing you full circle, and forcing you to look at everything that’s important, and lucky for me, it’s something I already had in front of me.. I’m so grateful for all the support of the girls at the salon, who have never once questioned my crazy ideas, or made me feel bad for having one foot out the door. I am also extremely grateful for all my beautiful clients who have never complained for my lack of availability or flexibility. You are so awesome, & I hope to be able to return the love one day.. I can’t wait to get back to normality & to see you all soon! Carly xx

16.01.2022 To all my beautiful clients, It makes my heart so very sad to have to tell you that I will be cancelling all appointments from today onwards. The very nature of the work I do makes it impossible for me to put an appropriate distance between my client & myself. Whilst most of us are fortunate enough to be young and healthy, many in our community aren’t so lucky. It’s our job to protect those people. As many of you are aware, my elderly Nanna lives with us, and I feel it is my... responsibility to keep her, along with my more vulnerable clients, safe. Please don’t think that this is a decision I’ve made lightly, or that I’m too hasty. In addition to all the wonderful catch ups I get to have with clients I consider more like friends, this job also puts food on the table for my family. I have spent the last week really thinking hard about this, and I feel like it’s the right thing to do. I will be in touch with you via this page as the situation changes to let you know what will be happening. I would love to think that we will all catch up on the other side of this awful time. Remember, that this is not a time for panic, but rather an opportunity to slow down, breathe, and find time for the little things that make us happy. Stay safe and well. Carly xx
