25.01.2022 RAMMED EARTH | I love this home we staged today! The rammed earth internal wall makes me feel nostalgic for my teen years living in Marg’s, where every other new build included a bit of compounded dirt...beautiful old doors and that amazing olive green ceiling! I’m gone!!

17.01.2022 Lest We Forget Today, I remember my great grandfather. He died in WW1 just days before Armistice, in a town called Hesbecourt in the north of France. I stood on the very spot he died, in what became a silverbeet field, with my Dad and now late Grandma and Grandpa, 75 years to the day of his death. My Grandpa was writing a book about his parents story. For the previous week we had visited the towns Great Grandpa had fought in and sent letters home to his beloved wife from. G...randpa read these letters as we passed through each town. We celebrated his life that day with the beautiful families of this one road farming community, some students from the local school and their English speaking teacher who had helped be our translator. There were also two local journalists, which was fitting since both my Dad and Grandpa were too. It was such an incredibly moving day. Three generations of our family remembering the life of this man none of us have ever met. This gentle, God fearing, poetry writing, country boy whose wife was newly pregnant with a son he would never get to hold. Keith Murray Snr See more
