We are launching a subscribers list that will keep everyone updated about store additions, upcoming stock renewals, new product release dates, special weekly offers, discount coupons and access to our BFF (Bug Frenzy Friends) limited edition invertebrates. Also, we have had so many requests about jumping spiders and when we update our stock list on the website that we will sending these alerts as well. We are working on a system that we can confidently set a ...time and day each week for certain products to live which will then give everyone a fair chance and ample notification as to when the products will update. 13.01.2022 NEWS UPDATE: The newsletter will be going out tomorrow with details about our Christmas Giveaway. Just a reminder that this week is our final week of OPEN SHOP until after our move in December to our new premises. We will then settle back in, restock the shop and re-open it as soon as we can. Orders for this week closes on Sunday at 5pm Adelaide local time. ... COVID UPDATE: There has been a new cluster of Covid in the Adelaide northern suburbs and an announcement has been made about a lockdown for 6 days. This may or may not affect our ability to mail parcels next week. If this becomes an issue we will keep you updated as the situation develops.

02.01.2022 Product Alert! If you have ordered one of our jumping spider kits before the 7th of September, you will need to take some extra steps to protect your spider from a possible contamination with some nasty mites. This seem to be particularly in relation to the maratus vespertilio spider kits. This is what you'll need to do: Rehome your spider in a temporary enclosure for a couple of hours (2-3 hours) and place the current kit and all it's components (the sand, the log, the fak...e plants etc) in the freezer. This should kill any nasties that may have been missed. Once the kit is back to room temperature, you can rehome home him back. Our apologies for any inconvenience. The kits that went out this week have been double checked and should not pose any risks. We have established some new safety procedures for any future kits that we sell, to ensure this does not happen again!
