The Egyptian pharaohs utilized wooden scaffolding associated with the pyramids and in Medieval times, the monks were trained as scaffolders for construction.... In modern times there are now several classes of scaffolding with various configurations dependent on the works being undertaken but one thing remains the same throughout time, scaffolding is used to support our work crews and materials to aid in the construction industry.
