17.01.2022 This year the Victorian Training Awards will be a virtual event. At BAA we are extremely proud of our team to again be a finalist for the category of Small Training Provider of the Year after winner the category in 2018 and also being a finalist in 2017. This year our team has decided that where we are announced as the winner on Monday the 26th of October at 3.30pm, we will donate the $5,000 prize money we receive to the important cause of men’s mental health education and a...wareness through 100Words - mate to mate. 17.01.2022 Our CEO, Andrew Shea is taking part in his 12th Movember Australia and a massive congratulations and hats off to all Legends doing the same. Why is #Movember important? Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. ... Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030. Suicide among #building & #construction workers who are almost exclusively men aged 15 to 24 is more than twice as high as other young males, according to the Australian Institute for #Suicide Research and Prevention.
