21.01.2022 NAH..SHE’S NOT THAT GOOD.. termites again in Mornington.

21.01.2022 LEAKS FOUND ON DOWNSTAIRS CEILING - Dark patches were observed on the ceiling during this pre-purchase inspection in Sorrento. There was a deck and iron roof above the room. The deck covered the roof, so the condition of the roof could not be checked but the dark patches on the ceiling read very high in moisture content. So, the roof is most likely rusting, which will cost a fair chunk of to fix. This is the type of defect that can go unseen and could break the budget of a property buyer if not picked up. Proof once again that it pays to get an inspection prior. P.S - I’m talking in this vid so turn it up if you want to here me ramble on.

14.01.2022 More Termite Damage - in this video I show how I go about testing an area that is suspected of hiding live termites. You’ll have to turn the volume up to get the idea. No termites showed themselves today but I feel a more, invasive inspection of this area would have uncovered some activity.

09.01.2022 CAN’T ASSUME... You can’t assume that everything is okay when a property is well renovated. This house was well presented, however, termite evidence was found in the rafters. Once evidence like this is found, it’s highly likely that further hidden and undetected damage will be present within the centre of timber beams and behind interior linings. Even though no live termites were found during this inspection, the report strongly recommends that a high quality termite treatment plan be applied at the property without delay. Know what your buying... BIA

03.01.2022 SNAKES & LADDERS I was heading to get my ladder out of the car and nearly stepped on this guy . Slippery little sucker. He was baking it up in the sun. I like him...smooth mover.
