Putting children first means prioritising the safety and well being of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare. For children to thrive we need to come together as a community and put childrens needs first during National Child Protection Week and every week. 09.01.2022 Please welcome Dr Shawn Hsia! Choosing a GP can be tricky: every patient has their own unique style, story and needs. Likewise, each GP brings their accumulated experience, personality and skill to the consultation. Dr Shawn graduated from Flinders University in SA and then trained for his Fellowship with the RACGP in WA. He has a particular interest in skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, preventive medicine, mental wellbeing, and chronic diseases (diabetes, heart health..., and weight management). Shawn was born in Taiwan, grew up in New Zealand, trained in South Australia and now working in Perth. He understands that people come from different backgrounds, and there is no one model that fits all.

We encourage all men over 50 or over 40 if they have a family history - to talk with their GP about their prostate health. Prostate cancer testing can be a complex subject, thats why we recommend that men talk with their GP about what is best for them.
