21.01.2022 Left at playgroup today. If yours I've left them at the school office for you to collect this week. (Note: Friday no school) Thank you all for today especially Santa. Thank you again to Sarah Gripton and Debbie for always helping in the kitchen during playgroup and to Rebecca Klemm for helping me set up and pack up when needed.. And all other parents who have helped me this term and last.... Have a wonderful holidays with family and friends. Merry Christmas and see you all next year

20.01.2022 Just a reminder that tomorrow’s playgroup will be 10-12 at the new playground in Angaston. With a special guest delivering presents to the kids Please bring a wrapped book for each of your kids with their name on it and hand it to me ina plastic bag on arrival (so kids don’t see it as this is their present from Santa). Also remember hat, drink, healthy snacks and sunscreen. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE

15.01.2022 Who has been cooking with their kids lately? It’s always a fun messy experience Hope to do some cooking with the kids when playgroup starts up again. Will be fun

15.01.2022 Wow what a fun day!! It was great to see the kids exploring different textures like shaving cream, rice, bath jelly, cornflour slime, moon sand and water beads. Thank you to the parents that helped set up and clean up... Next week is inside making Melbourne Cup craft and playing.

14.01.2022 Sensory play tomorrow Your child may get messy so please bring a change of clothes just incase We will also be outside so hats, sunscreen and your own container of cut fruit and snacks, for picnic on the lawn like last week... Would also love some volunteers to get there earlier to help me set up/make the sensory fun and carry tables up to the playground. Thank you in advance. Special thank you to those parents that packed away the toys last week for me, was a wonderful surprise See you tomorrow

12.01.2022 Today was filled with imaginative fun in our new boat and with the road signs. We look forward to our new boat getting a make-over soon So many ideas

11.01.2022 Tomorrow is Remembrance Day so we will be making our own poppies to wear. Im currently cutting out the flowers hot glue guns will be used so parent help is required. There will also be a service held in the school grounds near the flags at 10:50am for 1 minute silence for anyone who would like to join we are all welcome., otherwise we will attempt 1 minute silence in the hall at 11am. There is a box in kitchen area to put them There will also be an extended school assembly for Christmas (not sure of the finishing time). Your Welcome to come in and watch or head up to the school play ground till it finishes. Special guest to arrive around 10ish

11.01.2022 Update: Due to this weeks craziness we decided to cancel this Monday 23rd Nov (week 7), plus our week 8 excursion be not go ahead. Instead we will hold this weeks craft activity next Monday 30th Nov (week 8)in the hub. See you (week 8)30th Nov for Xmas crafts... Reminder that 7th Dec (week 9) is our Xmas break up celebration day. Times may change so will post more details soon

09.01.2022 Hello Playgroup families I hope your all keeping well and safe. I can’t believe how this year has turned out! Definitely not how I thought! After giving birth to my beautiful Abigail on the 3rd of March, I was back in hospital for a week with an infection. During this time the world as we knew it had changed in an instant. It has brought many difficult and stressful periods but also made me realise just how important family and friends are I apologise for not posting sooner,... but I’ve taken the opportunity to absorb all that comes with being a mum to a newborn (and mum of four). With things constantly changing, Anne Marschall (Principal) and I, agree to wait another Term to open playgroup. I would love to hear if there are any families needing me to use this space for providing suggestions of activities, books to read, songs to sing etc. I’m happy to post something every week if families are seeking it Please comment below to say hello, how your keeping and what your looking for from me Take care and stay safe Regards Bec Bawden Ps: I’m missing you all very much and can’t wait to see you at playgroup next Term

07.01.2022 Sorry it’s just come to my attention that playgroup tomorrow has been cancelled I’m so sad to post this info I hope the word can get out in time but I will be there packing everything up that I set up today so will be able to notify those not on Facebook who may turn up. Hope to see you all next week for our last playgroup for the year Will keep you posted on info as soon as I know.

05.01.2022 As we are all aware, there is a 6 day lock down in SA. This means no playgroup on Monday. We will be discussing what happens after Wednesday once we hear more. Please keep checking this page for updates and tell those families you know who don’t have Facebook. Please take this time to make fun memories with your children at home. Make xmas craft (few ideas in comments below), read, sing songs or play games. Take care and see you all soon

05.01.2022 Thank you to those that braved the weather today. We may not have spent much time at the park but enjoyed some yummy food and drinks at D & M’s. We also had a very special visitor A special shout out to Sarah Gripton who will be missed next year. Goodluck to Holly and Matilda for your new adventures in 2021. May you all have a blessed Christmas break and see you all next year

01.01.2022 Sorry for the silence of late but as most will be aware I recently gave birth to our fourth child. Not long after coming home I was back in hospital but now home & on the road to recovery. I would like to thank those who have stepped in to help during this time.
