04.01.2022 We hope that everyone is still doing well due to the current events of Covid-19. We know its been a tough journey so far, both emotionally and financially and we'd really like to help if we can. We would like to extend an invitation to all our families to attend our online coding club for free until such time we can re-open our studio on Saturday's again. How it works? We use Zoom so that we can interact with all the students. Our three amazing mentors each work with a g...roup of students who are allocated to their 'coding break out room' upon joining the session each Saturday. Students learn Python or Blockly coding during the lessons, using 'Grok'. What do students need? They need to have headphones with a microphone AND a webcam so they can see and feel connected with other students. Students also need a Grok account which we can set up and provide to you for your student to use. Which students can attend? Any student can attend. If you are a current student that would normally attend lessons in-person, you will use the same Grok account details that have already been set up for you. New students who want to 'give-it-a-go' can also attend. What age students can attend? Students must be at least 7.5yo. Grok is also GREAT for older students right up to senior high school! We have a number of high school students who attend. When is it? Online coding lessons are from 9-10:30am on Saturday mornings. How does your student log into the coding room? You will need to email us so that we can send you a link to the specified coding room. Our email is: [email protected] Is there a limit of students that can attend? Yes. We will accept a total of 20 students each Saturday. Our regular students will be accepted first. Remaining places will be rotated to new students each week. Can I just turn up? You need to email us first that you would like your child to attend. And if there is places available we can reserve a place for you. That way, we can prepare accordingly. ************* Hopefully things will return to normal soon. Until then, we extend our well wishes to everyone.

01.01.2022 The team at Building Block Studio extends best wishes to everyone in the current health crises that the world is experiencing and we hope that everyone is safe and well! It certainly is a scary time filled with much uncertainty. Unfortunately, we can longer run any of our clubs for the foreseeable future, however, we are trying to hard to develop content to implement in our online learning environment. We will try and keep you all up-to-date. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.
