18.01.2022 The guys have been working hard in the program and are currently in placement with their host builders and carpenters. Here are some of the things they have been doing, and have made, over the last several weeks

12.01.2022 Our training site is currently underdoing an extension due to the growth of North East Vocational College over the last 10 months. During the construction of the extension the students of the Builder Pilot program will be hands on for this project to some degree. See the before and current stages of the extension below. Updates will follow.

10.01.2022 We're starting a new program from mid May 2017. It's a real opportunity for you to begin your career in the construction industry. 20 places ONLY, and they are all FREE. DON"T MISS OUT! Give us a call and get on board!!!

10.01.2022 It has been quite a while since our last post 6 months ago and a whole lot has been happening and achievements made. The number of our full-time students is down to 16 with a couple moving interstate but a fantastic outcome with one student gaining an apprenticeship where he may not have otherwise had the opportunity. All students have quickly gained the skills required to effectively participate in the structured vocational placement element of our unique program. Thanks to ...our dedicated group of host employers, we have been placing our students on active construction projects with them to gain first hand experience in daily trade related tasks. Our training workshop and yards are currently full of cubby houses which the students are enthusiastically completing as they are their own designs. Keep checking in for further, more regular updates. See more

02.01.2022 Last month Tom Noble one of our trainers of the Student Builder Pilot Program went to Cambodia with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for the Cambodian people. He was fortunate enough to do this with the generosity of all the people who kindly donated and attended functions for this cause, this we thank you kindly and because of your generosity there are some very happy families who have safe and liveable homes. I have attached some photos of the journey.

01.01.2022 The BTISA students were invited to visit the Former Royal Adelaide Hospital site last week to learn about large commercial demolition practices. Some students have not yet been on a commercial site of this scale and were suitably impressed and engaged. Topics covered were site establishment, decommissioning, safety during deconstruction, materials recovery and the machinery involved in the process including the 125 tonne monster in the video! This was a very informative morning presented in partnership with Renewal SA and McMahons Services who we thank for the invite.
