17.01.2022 Our Anzac Memorial Centenary Project with Johnson Pilton Walker and the Government Architect NSW has recently been announced joint winner of The Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture at the 2020 National Architecture Awards. We're proud to have been involved in this once in a lifetime project which realised the original vision for the memorial and provided an education space for the community.

15.01.2022 We are proud to unveil our completed refurbishment of 55 Market Street in collaboration with our project partners TSA and Mirvac. On one of the busiest corners of the Sydney CBD, this amazing project includes a brand new commercial lobby, an extensive podium realignment and beautiful new sandstone façade. The works involved 21,000m2 of commercial floor refurbishment, BCA and services upgrade, 3000m2 of new retail space and an end of trip facility. The Built team collaborated ...with TSA Management, Fender Katsalidis and Taylor Thomson Whitting (TTW) to deliver this transformative building repositioning. Completed in just over 12 months, Built’s innovative construction methodology allowed this project to be delivered on time and to the highest quality standards whilst eliminating impact to the surrounding areas and stakeholders. #builtworthy #fitoutandrefurbishment #fitout #refurbishment

13.01.2022 Our Vic team have just secured the refurbishment of Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne on Flinders Street for global hospitality group Far East Organisation. We'll be giving this nine-storey heritage hotel new finishes and updates across 314 rooms, lift lobbies and corridors in addition to hotel entry, reception, lobby and restaurant. Built was selected for our fast-track programme, national experience, our thorough understanding of the project, commitment to quality and experience in heritage buildings.

12.01.2022 Our Small Works team in Vic have been awarded the ground floor refurbishment at 574 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne. Works include the refurbishment of the existing lobby, forecourt area and a new business lounge. This is a fantastic opportunity for the team, collaborating with new client Vantage Property Investments in a prominent location. Take a look at the renders for a peek of what’s to come.

10.01.2022 We're thrilled to have delivered our latest health project at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre - VCCC - the cutting edge Gamma Knife facility. This high tech, non-invasive radiosurgery and radiotherapy device is the first of its kind in Victoria and will treat over 500 patients annually with brain tumours and cranial disorders. We were able to deliver this facility through complex modification of the Centre's existing Radiation Therapy Bunker in a live hospital space while maintaining ongoing clinical care adjacent to site. Congratulations to the Built. team for delivery of this potentially lifesaving facility.

09.01.2022 We're excited to be appointed by Mulpha Australia to undertake the $95m redevelopment of the landmark InterContinental Sydney. The internal upgrade will include all 500+ guest rooms, refurbishment of the ground level with new iconic public bar within the heritage central court. There will also be a full refurbishment of the hotel’s restaurant, level 31 gym and pool, and new public bar within the level 32 Club InterContinental lounge as well as restoration of the original heritage façade dating back to 1851.

As heritage specialists, we loved working on one of Perth's significant historical buildings, completing structural, refurbishment and fitout works and delivering an exceptional outcome for the community. 04.01.2022 This Christmas Built supported hundreds of families that have been affected by domestic violence. Unfortunately violence against women and children has increased throughout 2020 and Built has been supporting many families that are affected. To help make Christmas a time to enjoy for these families, Built collaborated with The Run for Good Project and delivered hampers with gift cards on behalf of clients to local grassroots charities. This will help empower women to give gif...ts of their choice this festive season. Built staff across the country volunteered to pack hampers for those in need and are working with Women’s & Girls’ Emergency Centre WAGEC, Got Your Back Sista, Beryl Women Inc, Emerge, Women's Safety Services SA, Zonta House Refuge Association Inc and Micah Projects to ensure these gifts directly reach affected families.
