17.01.2022 Mark Lithgow Bujinkan Katana Seminar Sydney November 2 & 3. The skeletal plan for the two day seminar is... Day 1 Basic Sword handling Time 10.30 Registration - 11.00 - 1.00pm. 2.00pm - 4.45pm Out by 5.00pm Day 2 Short Sword and No Sword. Time 10 - 10.15 Registration 10.15 -12.45 pm 1.45 - 4.15 pm Out by 4.30pm Please purchase all tickets through https://www.bujinkankokusai.net/event Youll be directed to the trybooking.com site. In October for single day tickets there is a 10% discount. Marks intention is help the participants to understand basic sword use and start building a strong core structure, through the kenjutsu. This will help improve their taijutsu in general. The objective is to witness structural improvement in all participants after a couple of days, that with consistent training can be polished and improved. This is NOT training where you find a teacher doing a bunch of techniques, and trying to impress people with stuff that they can do but others can only attempt. There is plenty of time to work on things so you CAN do everything Mark demonstrates. The reward is two fold. Shihans see the glint in peoples eyes when they realize Theyve got this!... And the people that have "got this" have rock solid foundations from which to build... That includes Shihans right?!!.... All of the training is Bujinkan and but because of Marks background - he wants get you thinking more like a swordsman. Especially when doing uke for mut tori techniques. Additionally aside senior Australian instructors Phillip and Joanne Legare will be coming down-under from Hawaii to attend. So there is a wealth of experience available to support all attendees. Mentioned earlier there will be a video made of the seminar that will be made available to participants only and downloadable from a small donation to Soldier On $5.00+ The Training will be held at Tramsheds 1 Dalgal Way Forrest Lodge . Also known as the Harold Park Community Centre. On Saturday after training we will be retiring to the Redline for post training drinks. Please advise if youd like to join in so I can advise the Taphouse of numbers. https://www.tramshedssydney.com.au/vendors
