23.01.2022 COVID RESTRICTION BRIEFING NOTE: Hello everyone, Given the recent COVID restrictions update I want to brief everyone on what is happening at Bujutsu.... Please note the limit of 30 per class only applies to gyms. The NSW Covid restrictions make it clear that martial arts training is not considered to be a gym and this restriction does not apply to martial arts classes. Despite this where possible we will keep classes below 30. If need be we will run 2 seperate classes when we can. In terms of our gym area, we can have up to 25 people in that area at once. We never reach more than 10 at a time so that won't be a problem for us. In terms of the 1 to 4 metre rule, we are able to have up to 450 people plus staff inside of our dojo. If we have 100 people in our dojo at once, we will have 1 person per 18 metres. Most of our classes train at a distance of 2 metres. Some further, some closer. Contact martial arts training is still allowed. But I will be reducing this wherever I can. Masks are not required. Wherever possible please maintain 1.5 metres. Do not bring unnecessary people with you to the dojo. Mum's and dad's are welcome to attend together to watch their children. Please do not arrive any earlier to the dojo than necessary. Please leave as soon as your class is finished. We have 5 sanitisation stations please use them as often as you like. We will continue to clean high touch areas twice a day. Everyone must sanitise at the front door and complete the Service NSW QR code sign in. Needless to say, if you are unwell please stay home and rest. I am really happy to report that since reopening not a single person has attended classes displaying any symptoms. Thank you to everyone who has helped keep our dojo safe until now. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Sensei Mark Director/Chief Instructor

01.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

01.01.2022 ALL PARENTS SHOULD READ THIS Martial Arts instructor charged with sexually assaulting a student. This is happening far too often in Australia!... Christopher Barnes (33 years old) owner of Fearless Martial Arts (Guildford NSW) who claims to provide the best martial arts training available anywhere in the world and has his students call him Master. This guy is delusional making this claim. Of course I have to mention that Barnes denies the allegations and is innocent until proven guilty and these are only allegations at this stage. We all need to be extremely careful of whom you let into our children's lives. Remember our children are our most precious asset. It is our responsibility to protect them. The martial arts industry is an unregulated industry and there are charlatans everywhere. So choose your martial arts school and teacher carefully. https://www.theaustralian.com.au//52102aa4564ffb693c8a6cd6
