16.01.2022 Yesterday we had another grading with 17 student invited to take part. All students put their all into the grading resulting in everyone passing. Some of the students showed a little extra improvement and gained an extra tip on their new belt. Congratulations to all who graded. Sensei Martin Watling and myself are happy with the result and proud to say you are our students. Keep up all the great work... A special thank you to Shihan Michael Fardell, renshi Paul Rollo and sensei Steve from Port Macquarie. Always a pleasure to have you down

08.01.2022 "First practise very hard with closed fists, and then we use more often open hand techniques. Later it will be easy to change from open to close techniques and the opposite." - Taiji Kase

06.01.2022 Every two months we hold a senior training day. This time it was held at Port Macquarie dojo today. We also conducted a brown belt grading and tip testing. All eligible students from Maitland, Bulahdelah and Port Macquarie are able to attend. It is a time for all the students to see how they compare to others on the same grade from different dojo’s. It also helps the instructors making sure they are teaching the right techniques and if not making the necessary corrections. I ...am pleased to say Cobe and Banjo attended and held their own with the other brown belts. COBE gained his first tip towards getting his 3rd kyu and Banjo gained his 4th kyu brown belt. Congrats to both of you for the effort you put in today. Sensei Martin and myself are proud of the achievement.. congrats to all who passed with either a grading or a tip. Thanks to Shihan Michael Fardell renshi Paul Rollo sensei Sam Morante, Sarah Fardell and all the other black belts for attending.
