24.01.2022 This year we have learnt how important connection is to each of us, how much we miss even the most simple touch of a friend and how amazing live music is! As you know we had to cancel BBF2020, but we are slowly looking to 2021 and how we can provide a welcoming, loving weekend of music and connection. We are working towards a much smaller edition of the festival with all the aspects you love the most! We have not decided on a location yet but are crossing our fingers it'll ...be held right on our property in Bulga at the Sapwood Retreat Space. So keep a lookout for details and announcements over the next few months as the scaled down event will sell out fast! Until then, make sure you are staying safe and supporting all the live music, performances and events that are starting up again post-covid! 11.01.2022 This Sunday! The Lass O'Gowrie --- Stardust Bazaar February has two Bulga beats festival tickets up for grabs!

11.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: These are testing times for the entertainment industry, while we wait out the next few months remember to support those musicians, artists and other self employed people. Buy music, art and try to reach them if your position allows you too. They will need it! As of Monday gatherings 500+ will be cancelled, Bulga Beats Festival is capped at 300 online tickets plus locals, volunteers and performers. We sit under the 500 mark. At this point we are still going ...ahead with the festival but over the next two to three weeks we will be watching and seeking professional advice on the situation with a final call being made one month out from the event. If we do go ahead, we will be releasing lots of festival info and support to make it as safe as we possibly can for everyone. 09.01.2022 COVID - 19 UPDATE Even though our bands wear full body protection... It's with great sadness that we have decided today to cancel the physical attributes of Bulga Beats Festival 2020. This decision comes after a lot of research and consaltation. With the impending lock-down of our society and the fast spreading nature of the virus and with little hope of a vaccine until well after the festival. It is the best option both for the safety of our patrons, society and financially... for the event. All ticket holders will be refunded or have the option to roll their tickets over for the 2021 festival. These refunds will be completed over the next few weeks. If you have any questions or concerns regarding tickets, please get in contact with us either on facebook or [email protected] THE GOOD NEWS?? Over the next few weeks, we are doing our best to see how possible a high quality audio / video live feed of a night of music, talks and workshops will be, filmed straight from our Sapwood Projects bush retreat stage! This may look like a donation amount to be able to access the feed with all money going to the bands and tech people who desperately need income over these tough times. Any profit will be going to support Musicians and workers in the entertainment industry. If you would be keen to sit back in your home with a weekend of music, talks and workshops for a cost of around $25 please let us know in the comments so we can get an idea! 03.01.2022 In 1 hour we would have opened the festival for its 5th year. We would be swinging each other around to an amazing traditional bush dance and warming up for a night of dusty fun! We will all have to wait until exactly one year from now, but this Sunday night we will be hosting a little impromptu live jam session with the amazing OttO_wavemusic and possibly a few other BBF favourites.
