17.01.2022 Judges Critiques Mrs Bernadette Marshall Wakatang Bull Terriers (AUS) - 2/11/19 It was a pleasure judging the recent Bull Terrier Miniature Club of Victoria Championship Show on 2 November 2019. The exhibitors should be proud of the quality of the dogs, particularly the vast improvement in the heads, especially the width and fill. Regardless of where any of the dogs placed each owner went home with the best dog....Continue reading

16.01.2022 Some of our followers may have heard of a famous red and white bull terrier who won Westminster Dog Show. The dogs name was Rufus and he went on to become a well known ambassador for the breed. The people behind Rufus were Tom and Barbara Bishop and they are both very much loved members of the bull terrier fraternity and well known to many. Unfortunately, Tom was recently involved in a serious motor cycle accident and tragically passed away. ... Tom will finally be reunited with his beloved Rufus and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to Barbara and the family on Tom's passing.

15.01.2022 Good evening Members, Exhibitors and Bull Terrier Miniature Fans, Further to an email received from Dogs Victoria on 16/3/20 and further discussions with the BTMCV Committee, we regrettably have made the decision to cancel the May 2020 shows. The rationale for this decision is that the prescribed period provided by Dogs Victoria for cancellation of all shows and events ends on 30/4/20, which is only a day prior to the commencement of our show dates. There is also a high po...ssibility that further extensions to this exclusion period may also be applied in order to prevent the spread of COVID19.. Please note that all sponsorship which has been received so far will be redirected to the November 2020 Shows and any deposits that have already made for the Heart Clinic with Dr Richard Wooley will be refunded. I am sure that members, exhibitors and the general public who had planned to attend the event, will understand that our decision has not been made lightly, however the priority is and will always be, for the health and well being of our members, exhibitors and their families. As this virus presents a potential risk for everyone and further, a severe risk for a specific range of people, our preference is to ensure that everyone remains unaffected. Kind regards The BTMCV Committee.
