24.01.2022 COBRAM/BAROOGA PEOPLE, PLEASE SHARE so we can get the word out. After a very long break, the river is now down. We will be resuming our cruises as of this Wednesday 2nd November. Come and check out the river and banks after a huge flood. It doesn't happen often.

11.01.2022 These photos were taken Sunday and today. The river has broken it's banks locally in multiple places, including the people's bridge, right on the border and in parts along river road. This means multiple road closures! A sever weather warning has been issued today and we could have in excess of 40mm rain over the next 24 hours.... The Hume weir now has 7 gates open! Will keep you posted!

09.01.2022 This is a photo of Bullanginya lagoon and the Barooga swing bridge, taken yesterday. The water level is higher again today and the road down to Thompson's beach and the beach cafe is flooded and closed. Look's as though the cafe has gone under too!... The river has broken it's banks at the People's bridge b/w Cobram and Barooga and I'm sure that won't be the only spot! We have more rain forecast for the weekend but I will try and venture out and take some more pics! Stay tuned! PS, on a positive note, apparently our golf course is holding up a lot better than others nearby!

06.01.2022 We have been fully booked since Christmas but have multiple vacancies from the 20th of January onwards, including Australia Day weekend. Come and see us while the weather is perfect and enjoy a break away with the family before school returns for another year! Remember, there is nothing better than the sound of nothing and the taste of cold beer!
