24.01.2022 Today we have spent the whole day outside learning and getting dirty. Mud, mud glorious mud!!!! We have finally finished off our mud brick frames and started making our mud bricks again. Instead of making four a time we can now make 16 mud bricks. ... Thanks Aurelien for helping out with a more powerful drill today.

18.01.2022 Today we celebrated NAIDOC week with the 2021 preps. We enjoyed story time, collecting leaves and painting them. We can't wait until they dry and we laminate them for amazing book marks.

17.01.2022 School Holidays are fast approaching and we are excitedly working away creating these fun take home holiday packs. Our theme for this school holidays is 'Screen... Free'. Our craft packs are full to the brim with fun home activities - crosswords, puzzles, treasure hunts and lots of other activities. Our packs are available for collection from all our libraries and Council customer service centres starting from September 21st. Please comment or message us if you would like to collect a pack from a particular site so we can make sure they are available. Get in quick because we only have a limited number available. 17.01.2022 Friday night fun with the kids!

16.01.2022 Just as the school day ended down came the rain and hail. The kids didn't care as parents tried to get them to the car dry, they were living the chance to collect the hail stones.

16.01.2022 We have not been able to participate in any Friends of Cornish Hill Excursions this year, but they have not forgotten about sharing their knowledge and passion with our school community. During the break next week, get the kids out and get them excited about birds, in preparation for when we do the Backyard Bird Count.

12.01.2022 I'm a bit late posting this one sorry everyone who has been waiting. Last week in book week we were lucky enough to be supported by the Hepburn Libraries who recorded many readings from the list of 2020 book week list. We really enjoyed the book My Friend Fred and making our dogs.

12.01.2022 Today we were fortunate enough to be able to witness the removal of a bee swarm. Our children's knowledge off bees and safety in the bush were well and truly present today.

11.01.2022 Today our 2021 Preps came to their second transition morning. Today they made their very own squiggle wiggle pencil to take home to practise their writing. We also had lots of laughs reading the book 'This is a Ball'. The kids decided they are much smarter than the Principal at the end of story time. They also had the opportunity to get down and bogie in music class. We can't wait until you can visit again!

Free Books for Kids has arrived in your stores, and this week we are giving away two books; 'A Ragged Blossom Tale' by May Gibbs and '...The Adventures of Captain Underpants' by Dav Pilkey. There will be two books to collect each Thursday for four weeks, with the 26th of November the final day of the promotion. 07.01.2022 After four years of talking about this, I am proud to announce that we are the proud school family of two health twin boy goat babies. Mum and kids doing well at a school family farm and we are all enjoying them from photos and live snippets when the internet is working well. Thank you to our amazing carers!

07.01.2022 We didn't quite get all our robotics completed today, but the children were engaged and worked hard today. We will finish them off on Monday, and Ms Pegg won't forget the batteries either!

05.01.2022 It’s not often that we have students onsite during remote learning. Over the two days that we have, they have put their artistic skills to work and are creating a ‘Bullarto Sistine Chapel’ wall canvas.

03.01.2022 A little bit of fun as the weather warms up.

02.01.2022 Our senior class have been working so hard to plan an online celebration day for the end of Term 3 today. They have been using their skills from financial numeracy to plan a day that had a set budget, their research skills to plan a fun filled day of knowledge about animals and have developed 6 rounds of a Trivia Day for the whole school. To add a little fun, it is an optional dress up day, and I enjoyed my trip to worked dresses as a lion. (Thanks Mel for a lens of my costu...me) I am so proud of how hard the senior class have worked and hope the whole school has a fabulous day.
