22.01.2022 I GET IT, YOU DON’T HAVE TIME You work full time You have children ... You run a business You do all 3! Once you change your mindset from ‘all or nothing thinking’ and realise that a ‘workout’ doesn’t have to be 1 hour, you will start looking for opportunities to do SOMETHING (which is better than nothing). Am I frustrated that I can’t go to the gym and smash out an epic 1 hour workout like I used to...YES! BUT, 30 minutes of being active around the pool with my daughter is MUCH more productive than sitting on my ass while she swims. You might not have the time to go to the gym or workout from home in 1 hour lots every day (especially when your babes are young) but you do have the ability to be creative and find OPPORTUNITY to MOVE! So many friends, family and clients ask me how I have so much energy, and the answer is EXERCISE!!! Making sure I get a good sweat session in makes me feel alive and gives me so much energy for the day. I find the hardest days, the days that seem to last forever, the days that seem so hard are the days that I don’t get a workout in! I have a sick babe at the moment so I’m unable to go to the gym, but here is what I got in while Aubrey had a nap and Willow had a swim: 20 standard squats x 3 20 lunge pulse (l+r) x 3 20 pushups x 3 20 Sumo squat + toe raise x 3 Dragging willow around the pool How do you get your sneaky exercise in

Here it is My humble little recording space finally complete Now all that’s left to do is record For those of you who don’t know me very well, public speaking has been my BIGGEST fear and challenge in life. ... Just the thought of speaking in front of a group of people sends surges of adrenaline through my body. I start to shake, sweat, I lose my breath and my voice shakes. I have allowed this fear to strip me of so many opportunities in life. I used to skip class to avoid oral presentations. I would politely turn down opportunities to speak at workshops, friends weddings and birthdays. I don’t know how many times I received phone calls from potential employers telling me that I had the best qualifications by a mile but I didn’t get the job because my interview was just SO BAD! It’s my pain point... It’s caused me so much heartache and many tears... It’s cost me A LOT... But not anymore! I’ve been working so hard over the past 3 years. Little by little pushing myself more and more out of my comfort zone. I’m so ready to make public speaking my BITCH... Why am I telling you this? 14.01.2022 IM NOT GOING TO BORE YOU SO LETS GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT Calories are made up of 4 groups of MACROS (Macronutrients) The fitness world tells you about 3! ... The 4 groups are: Protein Carbohydrates Fats Alcohol Each macronutrient contains a certain amount of calories per gram. 1 gram of protein = 4 calories 1 gram of carbohydrate = 4 calories 1 gram of fat = 9 calories 1 gram of alcohol = 7 calories Now, if you want to know how many calories are coming from a specific macronutrient, you can simply weigh it (in grams) and x it by its energy value. For example: 100g protein x 4 = 400 calories 100g carbs x 4 = 400 calories 100g fats x 9 = 900 calories 100g alcohol x 7 = 700 calories You can try for yourself by tracking your food in MFP (MYFITNESSPAL) for 1 day. At the end of the day head to the ‘Nutrients’ tab for a summary of your MACRO consumption a breakdown of how many grams of each macronutrient you have consumed. Calculate how many calories you have consumed from each macronutrients and then add them up to see how many calories you have consumed for the day Did you calculations add up? We all doubt ourselves and our abilities at times, especially when we come across what we PERCEIVE to be ‘failure’. Personally, I prefer to think of ‘failure’ as an opportunity to LEARN and EVOLVE; you can’t fail unless you give up! Here are 9 ways to pick yourself up, reset, and refocus! ... 1. ACCEPT YOUR CURRENT SITUATION - You have to make peace with how your life looks at the moment and what led to this situation that you are in. 2. THINK ABOUT YOUR PAST SUCCESS - If you’re feeling down and out, use your past to your advantage and get motivated again. Remember all the times you kicked butt. Put yourself in that past and think about the awesome things that you used to do. 3. TRUST YOURSELF!!! 4. TALK WITH YOURSELF - Did you know the brain simply believes what you tell it most. And what you tell it about you, it will create. It has no choice. Make your thoughts count! 5. DON’T LET FEAR STOP YOU - Fear stands for FALSE EVIDENCE that APPEARS REAL. You HAVE TO check out some of my previous members results from my past 8 week challenges If this challenge keeps popping into your head, its probably for good reason. I'm a firm believer that you should always follow your gut instinct. I find a lot of women are ready to make the changes to lose weight but too often let that devil on their shoulder 'fear' convince them not to do it. ...
