17.01.2022 A BullEx Australia World First. Recently we conducted a proof of concept demonstration of the new Attack Digital Fire Training System to the Royal Australian Navy’s Combat Survivability Section on HMAS Canberra. As a world first, a ship’s water-charged hose line was used on board and below decks for fire training; the Attack presented digital fires and regulated smoke via Wi-Fi connection to BullEx SmokeGenerators. A ship’s fire response crew fought several digital fire ...scenarios with an onboard hose line, BullEx laser Task Force Tip and weighed hose line, laser fire extinguishers and water SmartExtinguishers. During the fire emergency simulations, a fire was set in a workshop compartment and two other seats of fire in the ship’s well dock. Fire crews found a smoked-out zero visibility environment in the workshop. A thermal imaging camera, used by the firefighters at the entry door, revealed that a person was collapsed on the floor requiring rescue. A BullEx Thermal Manikin simulated the victim' body heat signature and was visible on the camera allowing immediate location and retrieval. The compartment fire was extinguished using a BullEx laser TFT and hose line. The second emergency fire training scenario evolved as two seats of fire in the ship’s well dock. The firefighters commenced the fire attack with BullEx fire extinguishers but, the fires were too difficult to extinguish causing the firefighters to advance with an onboard water hose line to extinguish the two fires. The Attack Digital Fire Training System combines digital flames, sound and smoke to create a range of fire conditions that respond directly to hose line and laser firefighting apparatus. Train with a seat of fire in any location where live fire isn’t possible or practical. Imagery courtesy of the Australian Department of Defence.

06.01.2022 In Brisbane this week delivering the third BullsEye training system to Sundale, a not for profit aged care organisation with facilities spread over the vastness of Queensland. The Sundale Creating Communities staff are particularly committed to their duty of care to their community of residents and staff. Taking Care of our Customer - After we completed the fire extinguisher training for the instructors, Ian took the opportunity to conduct some maintenance on the first laser extinguishers bought in 2013. It was wonderful to see the determination of the instructors, Julie and Debbie to provide safe and relevant fire training to their community.

05.01.2022 Scott Hayden, Corporate Safety & Fleet Manager of the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health, is serious about safety of staff and clients across Queensland. Hundreds of people need fire training at #IUIH. Scott wanted to immerse his staff into a training environment that was as realistic as possible without smoke. Today BullEx Australia delivered training for the Institute's new BullsEye and Misty Blindmask systems which will simulate a smokey environment. Scott says the systems are "Awesome" and are taking the understanding of fire behaviour to a much higher level. Scott commented that, "In a critical incident, you will conduct yourself the way you've been trained. I want to train my staff so i know they will have all the skills they need when a fire happens."
