24.01.2022 Hi everyone, You may have seen the announcement from the SBA about basketball starting back soon. And, like me, you will have many questions. Please understand that you have received the same information that the club has received. We are seeking clarification on many issues. The main one being how registering for the upcoming season will work. Once we have clarification I will let everyone know.... Please note that noone will lose any money from their Winter Registrations. We need to figure out how to manage the registrations we have received as well as taking registrations for new players and make it all as seamless as possible. I will be in touch as soon as I have the answers. Training and games will start back after the holidays next term. 21.01.2022 SBA has just released another update regarding the domestic competition: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic updates, the SBA has made the difficult decision to push back the starting date of our 2020 Junior Spring domestic season (games) to Monday 20th July. In addition, we only have one of our four external domestic competition venues available at this stage, so we will continue to negotiate with the three remaining venues in order to launch our Spring 2020 season in full.... Our Senior domestic season starting date has not been finalised; we are waiting on confirmation from the State Government as to when senior competition can commence. *Note Bullits training venues are available and accessible from w/c 13 July

14.01.2022 Online Bullits Zoom Training Sessions: Bullits is offering free online Zoom sessions with our Head Trainer, Nathan, on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm. The idea behind the sessions are to get players outside and active with a ball in their hands twice a week while we are not able to play or train. All levels of ability can participate as players can work at their own pace while performing the drills. Players require a ball and access to a ring to participate in BOTH sessions. ... 11.01.2022 Registrations have opened for Sabres Rep try outs. There are no dates yet, but SBA are wanting to get an idea of numbers. Games are Friday nights and trainings Sunday mornings and one night during the week. Any Bullits players wanting to try out to play Rep Basketball can register via the link below. Please note that any players who were in Sabres teams for Season 2020- the season that wasn't, are guaranteed a spot in a team for 2021, but they will still need to register their intent to play again.

11.01.2022 Last night the Bayside basketball community received some very long awaited and much needed positive news... Bayside's 7 Councillors unanimously passed a motion to approve the remaining required funds to enable the 4 additional basketball courts to be constructed at Tulip Street. This is such an exciting project for the community and we thank the Councillors for their support in enabling the project to commence soon.
