25.01.2022 We would like to assure everyone that during these Covid-19 times we will still be available to help as much as we can with snake calls.

23.01.2022 With this weird weather recently the snakes have been hit and miss with their appearances. On another note, I will be working alongside the awesome team at Perth Hills Reptile Removal this season. Head over there and like the page to keep up to date with some of the snakes we are saving in the Perth area. Here is a short video of a Tiger Snake I was lucky enough to relocate a couple of weeks ago.... - Nathan.

22.01.2022 And just when I thought we'd be done with the true season, this guy comes out of the woodwork at 8pm lastnight. This is of course a Tiger Snake (Notechis scutatus), and it's no real surprise we still get to see this species as they are very cold tolerant. - Nathan Also, someone remind me to put a post up in regards to brumation (semi-hibernation) and snake activity over the cool period.... (Video of me checking him over outside this morning)

20.01.2022 I have always claimed I'm bad at photography and this proves it once again Little Dugite we picked up from West Swan this morning. Such a gorgeous black colour. I've not seen one so dark before. Sonya

20.01.2022 Reminiscing about the warmer weather. Bring on the summer! Monster Dugite (Pseudonaja affinis) relocated from Jane Brook back in January.

19.01.2022 The Western Crowned Snake (Elapognathus coronatus). Similarly to the species I introduced you to last week, these are also mildly venomous, with localised symptoms similar to that of a bee sting. -Always treat snake bites as life threatening and apply the appropriate first aid- These snakes are rarely seen, and their distribution ranges from Muchea all the way down to Esperance and beyond.... Habitat and Diet reflect identically to that of the Tiger Snake (as you can see from the image), and they are an incredibly cold tolerant species due to living in close proximity with water. - Nathan Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below, and I will post some additional photos there. -DO NOT attempt to copy my method of handling venomous species-

18.01.2022 Today has been hectic. 2 callouts sent to others, plus we got 2 dugites, a tiger snake and this little cutie who made a lady poop her pants almost literally haha. Didn't get a chance to get pics of the others as we had to catch, release and move on to the next call out. Days like this show we are getting the message out there to the public that calling relocators is much safer for people and reptiles. Cheers Gary & Sonya.

18.01.2022 Interesting finds from the guys at Curtin Uni. And I cannot recommend Perth Reptile Company enough for all of your Reptile education and display needs. Their contact information can be found on their main post.

17.01.2022 When you call in the big guns to help with a relocation. Thank you Lyndon for helping out your neighbour and us to get the Gwardar. There was 2 but we missed 1 of them. Lower Chittering.

14.01.2022 Another local snake for me to introduce. This is the Gould's Hooded Snake (Suta gouldii), and he's classified as mildly venomous. These are only a small growing snake and people often confuse them with juvenile Brown snakes (Dugites and Gwardars) in the area. I'll post some other photos in the comments. - Nathan.

14.01.2022 Best call out this afternoon to a house in Bullsbrook. 6 people had eyes on a dugite. They knew where it was and even helped us to get it out from its stuck spot. It makes our job so much easier if you keep an eye on the snakes. You don't have to be standing over it. Several meters away is fine. Just watch it. Great outcome for dogs and kids and the snake today. ... Caporn Street. See more

14.01.2022 Another day of playing with Gwardars.

09.01.2022 A great sounding event. The presenter is Gane Doyle from Western Australia Reptile Park in West Swan. A truly remarkable reptile man that I have used many times to help with info or rehabbing a reptile. This event will be well worth the $10 for adults and $5 for children. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4452854788058300&id=208630945814060

03.01.2022 A beautiful Gwardar I was gifted the opportunity to relocate this afternoon.
