25.01.2022 Each and every one of us has the ability to communicate in a way that connects, evokes emotion and inadvertently influences the audience. To be at your best, finding your passion and confidence to ‘unlock the presenter within’ is what we help you do. What we don’t do is try to change YOU. We have worked with hundreds of companies worldwide, and we never tire of receiving feedback like this.

24.01.2022 To make an impact on your audience, it is so important that your genuine emotions and feelings are coming through when you are presenting. A perfectly worded speech, without any real human delivery, won’t land the way you think. So please, spend more time rehearsing to ensure your genuine emotions come through with your delivery. ~ TB #presentationskills #presentationtips #presentationskillstraining

23.01.2022 People want to be lead, more than ever, that’s what happens when times are challenging. People want leadership. So, there is opportunity here and it’s a matter of being able to connect with your audience in a way that ensures you are heard. #presentationskills #presentationtips #presentationskillstraining #communicationskills #presentationtraining #presentationcoach

21.01.2022 The Power of Words vs The Power of Delivery. The impact of your delivery has never been more important. Don’t spend too much time on the words, you have got to find your words to be authentic and genuine in delivering them. Spend some time rehearsing and ensure your genuine emotions come through with your delivery.

20.01.2022 We are all experiencing levels of uncertainty, both in relation to challenges being confronted, as well as determining appropriate strategies and solutions. As a leader, optimism is crucial, but do not feel the need to over promise, or prove that you have all the answers (if you don’t). Most of all show and share a sense of calm. Right now, that is the what you need to spread amongst your people.

19.01.2022 People want to be lead, that is what happens when times are challenging. People want clear leadership. Connect with your audience in a way that ensures you are heard. Be real, that’s where you can engage and that’s how you will build trust.

16.01.2022 Think about what you can control, do not worry about things out of your control. Things can go wrong, but they can often be turned to your advantage and become a great moment in your presentation.. So go with the flow. #presentationtraining #presentationtips #communicationskills #mindset #presentationcoach

15.01.2022 Tony Bulmer recently presented for the NEC Corporation IMMERSION+ virtual conference. And while his presentation was, as always, professional and impacting.. We thought we would share some of the funny outtake images taken during his recording session with Uneek Creative #NECImmersion

15.01.2022 People want to know a bit about you when you're presenting, a sense of the person within the suit. Do they like you? Do they trust you? Can they relate to you? So what that means is we have to give a bit of ourselves when presenting. ... In any presentation situation, don't get too hung up on the external outfit. Get really hung up on what do these people need to really know about me to feel comfortable with me, to relate to me and to trust me. That's the key to your ability to influence. See more

14.01.2022 In my opinion, as much as I love hearing many instruments on stage, truly great performers are those that can walk away from the band, the orchestra, and just perform with one instrument, say a guitar or a piano. Sometimes, the raw performances are the best. Great presenters do not need big stages, extraordinary boardroom views, hundreds of PowerPoint slides and fake backgrounds. Great presenters are great because they are clear on message, appropriate with detail, excited and enthusiastic about being there, and they bring ‘all of themselves’ to the meeting. How engaging are you when the band stops playing?

14.01.2022 New World Challenges Virtual Communication. By definition virtual means almost, so it’s not quite the same as being in the room with people. I think there are great opportunities virtual is delivering but as a leader we can’t be nearly, we can’t be almost in communication. To engage and connect through virtual you have got to really put effort in. I encourage you to make sure you have a clear story in your mind before you even start. - TB #presentationskills #presentationtips #presentationskillstraining #communicationskills #presentationtraining #presentationcoach

13.01.2022 Be careful you don't take your audiences body language too literally. It's difficult to read your audience, they might be serious with their arms folded, taking notes/ doodling or they might even be on their phones. But this doesn't mean they aren't enjoying or paying attention to your presentation. I am not saying to be unaware of what is happening in your audience, in fact the opposite, but just be careful you don't take the state of your audience too literally. It's ok... to check in with them too. Ask - how is everyone feeling today? Is everyone interested in what I am saying? You will find you get a positive result, but then your audience might fall back into their comfortable stance. So always be alert to what is happening in front of you, but don't be fooled by body language. ~ Tony Bulmer See more

12.01.2022 Go with the flow. Things can go wrong, but they can often be turned to your advantage and become a great moment in your presentation. Think about what you can control and do not worry about things out of your control. Relax and enjoy.

11.01.2022 As a leader, remember to thank your people for their effort. But don’t just make it a 20 second generic statement. Go into detail referencing actual incidences or behaviours that you have seen first hand or directly heard of, because what that says is you really know what is going on and makes you sound far more sincere. #skillsdevelopment #communicationskills #leadershipskills

10.01.2022 Being professional is more than what you are wearing when it comes to presenting. Professionalism is more than looking the part, whatever that may be.. The real definition of professionalism in a presentation context is whether you are able to engage the audience you are presenting to. In any presentation situation think 'How can I be relatable?'

08.01.2022 The question you must ask before you start a presentation is - How are you adding value? What are you wanting your audience to be thinking or doing as a result of this presentation and what is the overriding benefit to them? Just updating or delivering content is not enough, you must ask yourself what is the stated value to your audience from them hearing this.

08.01.2022 Some businesses are doing extremely well at present. Obviously, many are not. As a leader, you must share with your people any concerning performance results. You cannot hide this information. Equally though, share any observations, no matter how minuscule, as to where they are winning. Be it resilience, determination, effort, camaraderie, lines of communication, give feedback for their wins. This will create more wins.

07.01.2022 We are all experiencing so much that is new. Certainty is not constantly available. As a leader, share current thinking, acknowledge where more answers need to be found, share options being explored. Show progress, but do not feel the need to have all the answers. That is not a weakness, it is a strength.

06.01.2022 I keep hearing ‘virtual communication is not as good as being in the room’. Maybe, but if you keep saying it, and telling others, it never will be as good as it can be and is! Get organised with your message and purpose, be energetic, bring your presence and intent, and dare I say, have some fun, and you will have fabulous, and arguably convenient engagement. ~ Tony Bulmer, Founder
