Our garden is teeming with bees, especially our blue and purple flowering bee friendly varieties which are now in bloom and providing plenty of nectar and pollen for the hives. We are going into swarm season so this weekend we will be checking on the hives for any signs of swarm cells and to add an extra box to make room for their increasing numbers and for all the extra honey!
