20.01.2022 Just to let you know Bumblebee Driving School is trading as per normal. We will continue to operate the business and adhering to advice. The government shopfront has stopped offering the one off test at the moment , so we are able to assist learners drivers through the log book system to get their license. We are taking additional precautions with cleaning of vehicles in between lessons. In the advent that we are to temporary discontinue operating we will reschedule with our... clients when suitable . If any of our clients are not feeling well please contact us to reschedule your lessons to ensure the safety of the instructors as well as yourselves. I would like to also welcome a new member of the Bumblebee team Louisa, who will be teaching automatic lessons in the Inner south and North of Canberra. Louisa comes with a wealth of experience in the driver training industry in the armed forces. 15.01.2022 Bumblebee Driving School are expanding and require a Driving Instructor to join our team. We operate in Canberra, Queanbeyan and Yass region. We pride ourselves in ensuring we deliver professional training to learner drivers and we are looking for instructors who have a passion for training learner's to be safe and smarter drivers.... To be considered for the role you will be required to have a Cert IV in Driver Training, however if you do not have this qualification we can guide you through the process to obtain the required qualification or RPL may be applicable. You will need to have a full Australian Drivers License, a clean driving record for the past 5 years. You will also need to complete a vulnerable people check. We are looking for people who have clear communication skills, a passion for customer service and are able to remain patient under all conditions. Basic computer skills required. Flexible working hours are available and we have an online booking system. We will supply a fully insured vehicle fitted with dual controls. A: Under the Public Health Orders, a person cannot leave their place of reside...nce without a reasonable excuse. A reasonable excuse includes travelling for the purposes of work where you cannot work from home, so driving instructors can leave their house for their work to teach people how to drive. We consider that it would be a reasonable excuse for a person to leave their house to receive driving lessons (either from a driving instructor or a member of their family), given that this is a learning activity that cannot be done from home and is akin to the listed reasonable excuse of travelling to attend an educational institution where you cannot learn from home. Learner drivers could also continue to drive with a supervising family member for any of the listed reasonable excuses for leaving the house for example, driving to the supermarket

We ...are anticipating a high demand for the service. Currently we have been prioritising customers who had a test cancelled due to Covid-19.
