20.01.2022 Sunday Message LEARNING IN PRIVATE WHAT TO SPEAK IN PUBLIC Matthew 10:27 Usefulness is the great desire of our souls if we are disciples of Jesus. we believe that it will most surely be attained by our making known the Gospel; you see , we have full faith in the foolishness of preaching.... We must not rum until we are prepared. This verse describes, and by implication promises the needful preparation of the heart. Our Lord will speak in our ear; he will commune with us in solitude or in a lonely place. 1. An invaluable privilege: The disciple is associated very near with his Lord, and received into close fellowship with him. We have before us three important matters. A) We are permitted to realize our Lords presences with us personally. He is still on speaking terms with us; he is still our companion in the night, our friend in loneliness and a time of need. B) We are able to feel his word as spoken to us. Immediately: I tell you, Personal contact. Forcefully: in the ear, not as thundered from Sinai, but whispered by a still small voice, still effective. C) We are privileged to receive such communication again and again; I tell you ..." Ye hear" We need precept or instruction upon instruction, line upon line. Our Lord is willing to manifest himself to his own day by day. We shall be wise to make occasions for hearing his voice in solitude, meditation and in prayer, and communion. We shall do well to use occasions of the Lords own makings such as Sundays or sickness. We need for a thousand reasons this private tutoring, this personal communication with our Lord. Please join us next week for as we continue part 2 of this message. God Bless Pastor Greg

15.01.2022 Sunday Message Part 2 of THE WAGES OF THE WISE James 1:2-15 Therefore , if out of some affliction we have only grief and sorrow, an occasion, a stumbling and faltering; but see no profit and no blessing, then we must have been missing some opportunity....Continue reading
15.01.2022 Sunday Message THE PROSPECT ASSURED BY THE SHEPHERD Surely Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever... This simply means two things, God is going to surround the Christian with everything good here and take us home to heaven at the end of the way; the goodness of God, the mercy of God, the forgiveness of sin, the sweet fellowship, the daily blessings are all ours here and now. And then we will be lifted up to heaven to be with him forever. You know it’s too wonderful to describe. Now to fully understand this psalm, we must go to Calvary. On the cross Jesus is dying. He is the good shepherd, dying for us, you and me. He is the one who provides for us. He is the one who promises to be with us. He is the one who prepares good things for us. He is the one who will dwell with us forever. In every circumstances of life, through all the toils and dangers of this world, even down to the last hour we can know that Jesus will be with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. And we can always say David, THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD. God Bless Pastor Greg
11.01.2022 We apologize for the late post. We have had some technical difficulties. Sunday Message 31st May 2020 THE PREPARATION MADE BY THE SHEPHERD Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runneth over.... In the old days the victors in a war would hold a great feast. While the conquerors ate and became merry, who their enemies who would be captured were chained nearby and forced to watch their conquerors enjoy their victory and their feast. That's a picture of us. Our enemies, whether they be our old besetting sins and fears and temptations, or whether they be human beings, must one day stand aside and see the Lord bless and reward us. Next we are told that the shepherd anoints the sheep's head with oil. When the sheep come home at night, the shepherd runs his hand gently over their heads. If he finds any cuts or wounds or scratches, he cleans them carefully, then covers them with healing oil. And yes this old world beats and bruises us, but there is healing in Christ. My cup runneth over. In the salvation that Jesus gives us there is nothing skimpy or no half measures. He gives in abundance every day. His salvation indeed an abundant one. Haven't you been so full of joy of salvation and so thankful for God's blessings that you had to cry, MY CUP RUNNETH OVER? I have, and if you count your blessings, you must say the same thing. May God Bless you Pastor Greg Next week we will look at the final part of our series' The prospect assured by the Shepherd' in 'DAVID'S
