23.01.2022 We are seeking expressions of interest in someone who may be keen on co-owning our little Pippa. Long story short she is an elderly dog who deserves more than ...I can currently give her and I was wondering if there might be someone out there who seeks the company but not necessarily the full responsibility of owning a dog. We are in South Bunbury See more

23.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE!!! HELP US LEAP INTO MARCH - ADULT CATS AVAILABLE FOR A DONATION OF CHOICE ALL WEEKEND! We are currently receiving around 200 cats pe...r week and our adoption sheds are bursting at the seams, so much so that we have cats housed in temporary dog crates, which is not ideal but we have no other choice From today until 4.00pm Monday you can adopt any adult cat over 12 months old for a donation of choice. We will leave the amount up to you but please know that we rely on donations from the public to get all these beautiful cats sterilised, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, fed, watered and if needed veterinary treatment. We currently have over 100 cats waiting for forever homes so we'd love you to come down this weekend to meet them and hopefully fall in love! Normal adoption procedures apply and if you are thinking of adopting please bring a current form of ID and a secure cat carrier. We are also open for adoptions on Monday's Public Holiday from 10am-4pm If you can't adopt please consider making a donation so we can continue to help cats in need. www.cathaven.com.au

21.01.2022 Expressions of interest for this 5 month old male staffy x sharpei pending vet health check He is in need of a new loving home due to no fault of his own. H...aving grown up with little kids, a cat and another dog, he is the ideal addition as a family dog. Still learning the rules and being a bored, he is currently a bit of a chewer as previous owners haven’t had a lot of time to spend with him. He loves going for walks, especially down to the local river and loves playing in the water. He also loves the hose and loves sitting in his water bowl. With this gorgeous face, you may have trouble saying no to him, but you will need to commit to training and daily exercise. Pending a vet health check, he will be available to adopt at the end of the week. His adoption fee will cover his vaccinations, desexing, microchip, flea and worming treatment. Adoption fee tba but looking at $550. If you are interested and committed to him becoming a part of your family, please message the page.

07.01.2022 SEA HARES These creatures are regularly sighted on our beaches and even more commonly found after strong winds or storms. These slug-like creatures are approxim...ately 30 centimeters in size and carry harmful toxins that can lead to sickness or death in pets. Symptoms to look out for include over excitement, tremors, seizures, drooling and vomiting. A sea hare is a type of sea slug with a soft body, a reduced internal shell and two tall rhinophores coming out of their heads that resemble the ears of a hare. They feed on algae in shallow water and if disturbed can produce a toxic ink to deter and escape from predators. Their level of toxicity depends upon what they eat. It is safest to assume that all sea slugs are highly toxic and therefore if you believe your dog has licked or ingested a sea hare or is showing the above symptoms, contact your vet immediately.
