25.01.2022 From the Principals Dear Parents/Guardians In line with the Government announcement, school will be commencing on Monday, 8 February. There will be no restriction in place for schools in the South-West therefore Bunbury Baptist College will be operating under normal conditions from Monday.... A reminder to parents that we are still in Phase Four, therefore social distancing still applies along with vigilant hygiene practises. Parents will not be permitted in classrooms, with the exception of Kindy Parents dropping off in the first two weeks and Pre-Primary parents dropping off on the first day. The Kindy rotating timetable will begin as of Week One, Day One with Kindy Banksia being the first group to attend. Half days will continue for Kindy for the first two weeks. Limited Parent help is allowed at the request of teachers; however, Parents are also reminded that they must sign in at Reception when they are coming on site during the day for volunteer work etc. The College’s new Reception is now directly off the Secondary car park. We look forward to welcoming you all back for the 2021 school year.

24.01.2022 From the Principals You would probably be aware by now that the State Government has announced a hard lockdown, commencing at 6pm tonight until 6pm on Friday 6 February. This includes the Metropolitan area, Peel region and the South West. School will now reopen on Monday 8 February. This period is considered an extension to the holidays so there will be no expectation for students to be engaged in schooling activities. ... Over the next week, the College will be closed completely and staff will be working from home. Should the lockdown be extended for any reason, this will be communicated to you in a timely manner. If you have not received these letters from the Principal, can you please check your spam file for a letter from Bunbury Baptist College as it has some useful information.... If it has been deleted in the meantime, can you please drop us a brief email at [email protected] to let us know you have not received our letter. 13.01.2022 School Bus Service 2021 School Bus Services (SBS) have commenced planning for the 2021 school year and are already experiencing an increasing volume of Transport Assistance Applications for 2021. Note ... Families do not need to reapply if there are no changes to their current circumstances and they are currently receiving transport assistance by the way of bus or conveyance allowance. SBS are encouraging applications to be submitted by Monday, 23 November 2020 in order to save a seat for 2021. Any applications received after this date may be delayed which will affect getting onto a bus in time for the commencement of Term 1, 2021

06.01.2022 Only one more sleep until school returns and our staff are all so excited to see the students back tomorrow! (I know some parents are just as excited that school’s back tomorrow too!) Just a reminder that gates open at 8.10am so students should not arrive before then and unfortunately, parents are not allowed into classrooms (with exception of Kindy and Pre-Primary.) 04.01.2022 Dear Parents/Guardians Secondary Carnival The Secondary Carnival was held yesterday and was a wonderful success and a great deal of fun was had by all. The students really entered into the spirit of the carnival. I would like to send out a big thank you to the parent volunteers who helped us yesterday. The carnival would not have been possible without you!... I would also like to send out a special thank you to the Year Six Captains and the Secondary Captains who did a fantastic job on the day.
