24.01.2022 What a brilliant 2 days of bowling in the Iron Jack Fours, in not the best of conditions, but we managed to stay dry for most of it. 48 teams in total entered, so a huge thankyou goes out to everyone who organised this event, Kim Wallace, Mick Delphs, John Mellor and Eric Reid, just to name a few (someone please let me know if I have left anyone off) as well as our fantastic ladies who volunteered their time to keep us very well fed, and of course the bar staff who kept us ve...ry well lubricated. 20.01.2022 In very trying conditions this morning, but improving in the afternoon, 26 pairs played in the Eaton Open Divorce Pairs. Playing 3 games of 2x4x2 it was a great... day with some very good bowls and close games. Winners of the day, from Bunbury, were Anne Blechynden and Darren Wilkinson on 88 points and 45 shots up. 2nd place, on 87 pts and plus 26 were the masters of the sticks, Kerry Ward and Laurie Blurton. On 86 points and plus 30 were Karen Cowin and Hedley Koch while 4th spot went to Carol Hamilton and Paul Wilson on 84 points and 30 shots. A big thankyou to Barbara Sullivan and Monty (Rod Montgomery) for your continued support. Also for the 3 beautiful raffles. 05.01.2022 Hi all. Just a couple more congratulations are in order from over the weekend. The Champion of Champions event was held at Mt Lawley on Saturday and Sunday. Our 2 gentlemen below both played extremely well, winning their games on Saturday, to progress to Sundays finals. Luke Wilkinson - Novice Champion, made it through to the top 13, to just fall short 13 to 17 in his first game.... Mick Spadaccini - Singles Champion, won his first round of finals 21 to 16, to go through to the top 8, then went down in the second game.
