19.01.2022 What's a pirate's favourite letter? Arghhhhh! On Friday the 18th of September the children at the Y Early Learning Maylands celebrated "Talk Like a Pirate Day"! By dressing up in their pirate best and engaging in endless amounts of pirate fun we have been able to support Australian families affected by childhood cancer.... If you would like to contribute to this cause, see the Maylands ELC donation page: https://www.talklikeapirateday.com.au//mayla/donations/new

13.01.2022 We celebrate our Father's and Father Figures year round! the Y East Cannington ELC made ham, cheese and tomato croissants for some of the dads, grandpas and mums (for the Dad’s who couldn’t make it) for breakfast. This was all followed up with a photobooth to capture the day and ball games

10.01.2022 We know that for children and young people to be inspired they need to feel safe and be safe. That's why the Y's of Australia have developed the innovative Stay Safe, Tell Someone Program that empowers children, young people and adults to tell someone if they are worried or concerned about their safety.

07.01.2022 Parents, next time you're dropping your child at YMCA East Cannington ELC, make sure you see our newly planted vegetable garden The Kindy room had noticed a change to the leaves and blooms on the fruit trees so they decided as a group to plant some vegetables! So far there are corn and snow peas in the garden with more being planted soon. What would you like to see planted?

07.01.2022 If you see something, hear something or feel something that makes you feel uncomfortable at any of our services, you can tell an adult you trust at the Y and they will help you

04.01.2022 Oh no, how did that happen...
