We'll be showing the 2020 AFL Grand Final on our Big Screen and throughout the Members Bar and undercover area. We have a special Footy Feast for 4 which is $70 and includes a beer or wine of your choice. 12.01.2022 Five Carats from Off the Track WA - Boy is she worth her weight in gold! The mare by Speed Week never made it to the races, however there is no slowing her down... now. Kiara as she is now fondly known at Claremont Therapeutic Riding Centre, works with rider Mercedes Portaro, along with the guidance of M'liss Henry four days a week. The pair competes in the National Para Dressage Video competitions, which are held every three months. They have also been the Horsepower, RDA Dressage and 4phase Champions for the last three years. In 2019 Kiara and Mercedes won the Millionaire Award at the Dressage WA Annual Awards. This award is named in memory of the successful thoroughbred gelding, Millionaire, owned and ridden by Val Mayger. The award is presented to the registered thoroughbred who achieves the highest percentage of any competitor in the pony, FEI or para equestrian classes at the State Dressage Championship. Mercedes and Kiara are also on the State Para Equestrian Squad, and their goal is to one day compete like her hero and friend, Paralympian, Sharon Jarvis. See more
