06.01.2022 He won it in 2015, he won it in 2018, and now on New Year’s Day 2021, Jared Graves, of the Darling Downs Cycling Club, has again taken out the Daniel Bennett Me...morial Race! Thanks to all who came out to the Norwell Motorplex to watch, facilitate and create the action. It was touch and go with the rain, and B and D Grades got a bit of a drenching, but everyone kept their heads, and their bikes upright, and some great racing was enjoyed across the grades. To our team of volunteers, thank you! Cathy, Damien, Dom, Michelle, Brad, Todd, Davin and Garry, . Damien in particular went above and beyond, making a mad dash back to Nerang before his race to supplement our pin supply. Champion. Thanks also to Paul Morris and his Norwell Motorplex team for their support of today’s racing. The venue was very well received and we’ve had some great feedback about the course.
