20.01.2022 A beautiful winters day for our walk along Sunday Creek Rd. The recent rain had given the countryside a green tinge.

20.01.2022 Last Sunday we enjoyed a walk in Deepwater National Park through areas of the bush recovering from bush fires. When you take it slowly you find all sorts of floral treasures that are very small and easily missed. A very scenic area.

20.01.2022 Some of the flora and views from the Kinkuna walk on Sunday. (no prize winning photos)

16.01.2022 7 of us braved the heat wave conditions to head to the Striped Boulder at the base of Mt Walsh. The fire on the Coongarra side of the park left a smoke haze on the horizon but was surprisingly clear at Mt Walsh. The cows had the right idea and we were all glad to hit the comfort of the air conditioned cars upon our return. There were still cars in the car park when we left at 11 so those actually climbing Mt Walsh would have been very hot. At 11am it was 37 degrees. Thanks everyone.

15.01.2022 An interesting article. For the walk grades that the club uses please refer to the newsletter.

15.01.2022 Sounds interesting.

14.01.2022 One of our members sent this through to share after he acquired a few ticks up at the Bunya Mountains. One of the not so pleasant side effects of bushwalking.
