24.01.2022 For the RSPCA Million Paws Walk this year we walked AND held a dog agility demonstration to show attendees a fun, active and social dog sport that we do right here in Bundaberg! We had a lot of interest from attendees, some of who got involved and had a turn on some of our equipment ... and the 7 News and Bundaberg NewsMail were there to capture the event! It was also the first outing of our brand new trailer ... and we are looking forward to many more to come!

15.01.2022 All members and dogs had fun on Tuesday night celebrating 6 doggy birthdays and learning about another dog sport, Rally-O. Big thanks to Heather for setting up the course and practice stations, explaining the finer points of the sport and demonstrating with your wonderful assistant Blaze. Thankyou also to other members who helped us all with learning something new! I think we all put our dogs obedience skills to the test (and learned where there is room for improvement :-P). Tuesday 15th December 2020 BDS Christmas party and break up Tuesday 19th January 2021 Training recommences following the Christmas break.... CHRISTMAS PARTY The evening will kick off with dog in best-dressed Christmas costume so break out the tinsel and bells and come dressed in your most festive attire (dogs and owners!). There will be a prize for the winning dog costume. After the fashion parade, dogs can run off some steam before we sit down to a bbq dinner and do Secret Panta for the dogs. Please bring: Your dog in Christmas costume Your own meat to cook on the BBQ (Rotary BBQ will be available) A plate for everyone to share, either a salad or a dessert. A wrapped present ($5 value) suitable for dogs (i.e. toys, treats etc) if you wish to participate in Secret Panta Mark this one in your calendar, you don’t want to miss this fun night. Tuesday 15th December from 5:30pm. Best dressed competition will be judged at 6:00pm sharp so get there in plenty of time beforehand to have your dogs ready. See you there!

Please meet in the marshalling area (centre carpark Bourbong Street, between Coral Coast Ford and Bundaberg Motor Group) between 5:50 pm and 6:20pm. Also, please wear club shirts if you have one (or a plain maroon shirt) and bring a small set of battery operated lights to wrap around your dog lead and any other Christmas costume for your dog so we stand out to the crowd. 03.01.2022 Are you a donut nut? Are you corny for popcorn? Will you help us to run our donut and popcorn stall at Agrotrend and the Rodeo this year, to raise much needed funds for our club? We need at least 3 members to man the stall at any time, between 9am to 5pm on Friday (5th May) and 9am to 10pm on Saturday (6th May).... You will receive entry to Agrotrend and the Rodeo, and maybe a donut or two. If you can help, please add your name to the roster on the noticeboard in the equipment shed and indicate the times you are available. This is an opportunity to not only raise much needed funds for our club and master the art of donut marking, but also to have fun and get to know fellow club members outside of training. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

All must adhere to COVID regulations ie distancing, hand hygiene etc. All who attend must record name and contact details on arrival at the grounds. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the evening. We welcome all members back and look forward to having fun with our dogs, You May need to rug up though.
