During the past 12 months, there has been significant discussion from the karting industry and some competitors regarding the parity between engines in the TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. The data obtained from the recently introduced electronic Scrutineering Records, when matched with the official results from official timing system have provided Karting Australia with the ability to better assess the parity within these Classes. Based on our analysis of this data, we believe that parity adjustments are warranted for both TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. Parity Adjustments - Effective October 23, 2020 TaG 125 Restricted 3kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for all engines OTHER than the Rotax 125 engine. 18.01.2022 Well what a weekend, plenty of fun and a mixed bag of weather made for an eventful meet. Plenty of on track incidents, clean racing but mainly a good time had by all. The canteen staff got a lot of love from the podium speeches and rightly so the feast they put on for Saturday night was fit for a king At BKC we pride oursleves on being a family club, all getting stuck in to get things done and a lot of that work often goes unseen but is important in putting toget...her an event like this, so we’d like to say a massive thank you to all of our volunteers who made this event possible. For all of you who came, thank you, we really appreciate the effort and time many of you took to come and support us, we sincerely hope you had fun, despite the weather and if you did, spread the love as we hope to make the event bigger and better. With that being said the only thing left to do is have our members Xmas Break Up and Club Championship Presentations. This year it will be held at the Grand Hotel Bundaberg, Sunday 6th December 2 - 4pm.... Finger food platters and Soft drink will be supplied (alcohol at your expense). 01.01.2022 ****Info for sunday's race meeting **** Please make sure covid and scrutineering forms are submitted by tonight please. Practice fees need to be paid before going out on the track on Saturday. This can be paid at the nominations room. Stickers will be given out when practice fees have been paid. A sticker is needed to practice.... Camping fees ($10 night) can also be paid at the nominations room. For those arriving tonight this can be paid tomorrow. There are still some jobs that our members can put their hands up for if they are not racing, and there is still help needed in the canteen. A few hours of your day is all that's needed. Comment below if you can help. Here's to a good weekend of racing.
