18.01.2022 Queensland borders will close to parts of South Australia (specific hotspots below) from 11:59pm tonight (16/11) following the latest COVID-19 outbreak. ... People arriving in Queensland from a hotspot must complete 14 days of hotel quarantine at their own expense. We’re asking anyone in Queensland who’s been to any of the hotspots listed below in the past seven days to immediately get tested and self-quarantine, even if they don't have symptoms. 18.01.2022 We had a great Saturday afternoon at the Bundaberg African community BBQ at Innes Park. Such a warm, friendly and happy community. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and impressive dancing! Thank you so much for having us.

15.01.2022 What a wonderful Wills Session we had on Wednesday night at the Neighbourhood Centre. It was full of insights, humour and lively interaction. Noone left unsatisfied. Many thanks to Chris Parker from Charltons Lawyers for his generous time.

15.01.2022 No Interest Loans application process over Christmas Please note the last No Interest Loans (NILs) payment for the year will be made on Friday 18/12. Therefore to be assessed and processed for NILs for payment by the 18/12, we will need to receive your complete and correct loan application before Friday 4/12. You will still be able to lodge your NILs paperwork after Friday 4/12 and up till our closure on Wednesday 23/12 but processing/ reviewing of that NILs paperwork won’t... occur until the week of 18/01/21. 12.01.2022 Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre celebrated Harmony Week at Norville State School on Thursday. Many thanks to Enya Xu, the school staff and all the volunteers involved in the event. We had a fantastic carnival of multicultural crafts.

10.01.2022 Harmony Week celebrates multiculturalism across Australia. This morning Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre celebrated Harmony Week at the Windmill Café. We had multilingual singer Analyn singing Chinese, Spanish, Filipino and English songs, Yangyang played the Yangqin, a Chinese traditional instrument and Trevor performed a Chinese tea ceremony. What a wonderful multicultural feast we had this morning
