Given the recent onset of droughts, bushfires, and the global pandemic, in 2020 Australia’s OT Week theme is: Resilience: Supporting our communities to rebuild, recover, and reengage. This year the event not only shines a spotlight on the value of occupational therapy in our communities, but also serves as a call to arms to support those hardest hit. In supporting people to participate in activities they find meaningful, occupational... therapists are vital in helping our communities through disaster recovery. At Bundy OT we are proud of the way we were able to provide essential services to our hand therapy and paediatric clients during COVID lockdown and provide safe services in our office once restrictions were lifted.

18.01.2022 Gemma and Barb are fashioning some masks! They were in Brisbane recently so will be following the restrictions in place until 22 Jan 2021 but are symptom free.

Wiping can be a bit of a mess sometimes especially when you have poor proprioception, wonky fine motor coordination and you are sensitive to all kinds of textures! Luckily OTs can help me practice these skills so I am independent and mess free! Rolling out... BOTty xx

Because there are so many areas of OT practice, here at Bundy OT we concentrate on just 2 specialty areas (Hand Therapy and Paediatrics) to provide the best service possible from our skilled therapists. But anybody who has has seen one of our therapists knows that the knowledge, advice and support provided often extends into all facets of OT and life.
