25.01.2022 Needing club apparel?? Please speak to Emily Lenehan (ph. 0403197867). Emily is putting in an order very soon for club shirts, hoodies, shorts, etc. which can be personalised with your name on the back. Please note, there will be a 6-8 week wait for all uniforms ordered. Bare in mind, our uniform design will be updated next season for our centenary. If you need gear straight away, there is lots in stock, it just won’t have your name on it.

Floyd (2/47 off 6) Winning the toss and electing to bat Off to a flying start with the new Skipper and Dowsey smashing out some runs finishing on a 109 run partner ship before the first wicket fell. Dowsey batting out for majority of the innings getting out on 118 off 83 balls! A hard fought battle in the field but unfortunately falling just short of the win with Stratford hitting a 6 with just 1 run to win, with 2 balls remaining in the game, finishing off 4/246. Second XI lose to Stratford by 6 wickets Batting: N. French (49) Bowling: H. Anderson (3/23 off 4) Winning the toss and electing to bat A few very early wickets had the boys 4/23, Frenchy adding some quick runs to the board making 49 off 46! Bowled out for 125 with 4 overs remaining Hamish Anderson bowling very well at the start getting himself 3/23 off just 4 overs! The boys unfortunately not having enough runs on the board, stratty chasing them down on their 28th over finishing off 4/127 Third XI Lose to Longford by 6 Wickets Batting: R. Aurisch (51) S. Schuback (39) Losing the toss and sent in the bat A great partnership early between Schuey and Lairdy putting on 50 together. Aurisch in fine form making 51 off 49! The boys batted out the remainder of their overs finishing up on 152 runs A good partnership from the two Longford openers set them off to a great start, longford chasing down the runs with 5 overs remaining 4/153 Fourth Bulls defeat Stradbroke by 140 runs No Stats Fourth Yaks defeat Sale by 6 wickets Batting: A. Day (50 off 32) A. Bradley (44) Bowling: A. Tilley (2/27 off 8) Losing the toss and sent in to bowl A great bowling effort by the Yaks restricting Sale to 6/138 off their 40 overs A great opening knock by Azza Bradley with 44 runs, Daisy doing his Daisy thing retiring as early as he can to get into the beers making 50 off just 32! Once again another dominating win by the Yaks chasing down the runs in just 21 overs finishing up 4/144 Fourth Buffaloes defeat Maffra by 57 runs Batting: B. Fuller (52) Z. Knight (32) D. Burnett (29) Bowling: L. Rowley (2/8 off 4) Winning the toss and electing to bat A top effort by the Buffas getting their first win ever! Great knock by Fuller and Knighty putting on over a 100 runs together. A few questionable outtings by some of the boys led to another Buffalo collapse but luckily the damage had already been dealt. bowled out for 202 on the 34th over. Some extremely good bowling by the Buffaloes restricted the Maffra boys from getting off the mark. Bowling out the 40 overs with maffra finishing 6/145.

Kyle hit the sign during his brilliant innings of 50 not out (off 50 balls) against Longford in the 1stXI. Great bonus on top of a great knock! 22.01.2022 Hi all, Welcome to season 20/21. After an extended break I’m sure you are all keen to get back into cricket. I will hopefully be there around 4:45-5pm today, so if anyone would like to come down a bit early and make use of the limited daylight please do but just remember to sign in or use the QR code one the club rooms and sanitise upon arrival and every 30-40 min. Also that there are only to be groups of no more than ten. This includes the nets. I understand this will come with its own set of challenges so I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Other than that I look forward to seeing you all there.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Jason Langshaw who has taken over as the official club and 1st Xl captain. The Langshaw family has been part of Bundy for over half a century and Jason since he was born so I'm sure he will represent the club well. Good luck for the weekend and the rest of the season. We also thank Sam Bedggood who captained to club for the last 3 seasons.

20.01.2022 SMCA exucutive is providing club delegates with options for return to play and what the upcoming season will look like with grading and format. Clubs will have ...an opportunity to survey members and provide their voting option at the next delegates meeting. At present, best information suggests late October at this stage for the commencement of our season, pending case numbers as per the government road map. Ensure you are keeping active in the interim and feel free to share what you are doing in isolation to prepare for the season ahead! See more

05.01.2022 With the cricket season on the horizon and local players getting restless at the thought of having a field, hit or bowl in the sun, there is still no clear path... forward to when on-field activities can resume. Unfortunately the question of 'when will we play?' will remain unanswered for a few weeks, although Monday, November 23 is looming as D-Day, as that could be the day regional Victoria will move onto the "last step" in the state government's road map. For that to happen, there must be no new cases for 14 days across Victoria, in line with preceding landmarks achieved before that, starting with a below-five average of daily cases in a 14-day period as well as zero cases in regional Victoria with an unknown source in the same time frame. 01.01.2022 As we're sure everyone has seen, the Premier announced today that Regional Victoria will jump to Step 3 as of 11.59pm on Wednesday evening! Well done Gippsland...!!! At the moment there are minimal details for community sport for Step 3: https://www.vic.gov.au/third-step-coronavirus-road-to-recov Outdoor contact and non-contact sport for people aged 18 and younger, outdoor non-contact sport only for adults, with gathering and density limits, outdoor skateparks open, outdoor fitness for groups of 10 people We are aware that the Community Sport road map with the detailed Community Sport advice is being finalised right now. We expect these to be released by Victorian Department of Health & Human Services & Sport & Recreation Victoria in the next day or so.
