25.01.2022 A proposal was put forward to Moira Shire by BAG back in 2011 to continue the sand-gravel Cycling-Walking track to Bundalong to create a safe passage for pedestrians, joggers, runners and cyclists. This would include a creek crossing at Majors Creek which was initally proposed by Moira Shire in their 2008 Foreshore Master Plan. Please see part of the proposal in the video below:
24.01.2022 Township Signage Voting Dear Residents. As per our previous email, Moira Shire Council is now wanting residents to vote on the images which have been suggested for Bundalong township signage. There are 4 choices which have to be voted on (see link below) 1. Water skier 2. Murray Cod... 3. Pelican 4. Wakeboarder If indeed you agree that it should be a water skier or wakeboarder, we are concerned that the images suggested are not reflective of the sport. As such, we would appreciate you choosing an image from those suggested as attached and respond with your choice. We will then advise Council of the BAG recommendation. Alternatively, you can go to the link below yourself and vote, if you prefer the images as Moira Shire has suggested. https://www.moira.vic.gov.au//Town-Entrance-Sign/Bundalong
24.01.2022 Stay safe everyone.
24.01.2022 Hi all Signs are being installed at the Bundalong entrance and all town entrances across the Moira Shire. These signs will display an individual motif, which can be proposed by Bundalong residents and reflect the nature and makeup of our town. In this first stage of the consultation process, Moira Shire would like to hear our ideas on what motif or image you believe would be suitable for Bundalong's entrance sign. As you can see in the example image which depicts a possible B...undalong town sign, the motif will be placed front and centre and be an integral part of the entrance sign. You will need to say in your proposal that it's the Bundalong's motive that you're suggesting and a brief description of what your motif proposal might look like. You will also need to follow the link below to lodge your proposal. Go on, have a go and put your proposal forward. https://www.moira.vic.gov.au//Town-Entrance-Signage-Motif-
23.01.2022 Hi everyone, You may be aware that there are Local Council elections in the coming weeks and ballot papers will be mailed to you at your address as per the electoral roll. You are required to vote and return the papers to the Vic Electoral Commission by Friday 23rd October. There are 17 people standing for the 9 positions within the Moira Shire and the great news is that two Bundalong locals are part of that group, Peter Elliott and Fred Douglas. We sincerely hope that you will support Peter and Fred by voting for them as your Number 1 and 2 (whichever you prefer to put first and second) to ensure Bundalong is represented on Council.
19.01.2022 Hope you are all hanging in there in these difficult times. It is important that you keep yourself and others safe at all times. Please everyone look out for each other. If you are in a position where you need help in anyway , please reach out and we can try and help.
19.01.2022 Congratulations to our two Bundalong local Residents Fred Douglas and Peter Elliott for standing for council. Being a small town, Bundalong needs are often underestimated or ignored . How good would it be to have a strong local voice lobbying for us?Put your vote forward .

01.01.2022 With all the work going on with the walking-cycling path alongside the MV Highway adjacent to Silverwoods at the moment: Do you reckon that now might be a good time for Moira to revisit the walking-cycling track to continue on to Bundalong as their Yarrawonga-Bundalong Foreshore Master Plan suggests ??
