13.01.2022 Sunday 22/11/2020 @ 17:18 the crew of FRNSW Station 080 Bundeena were called to a rescue incident at Wattamolla Beach, where reports were that some kids had dug a channel between the Wattamolla Lagoon and the open water, due to the low tides the water flow caused rapid erosion of the beach area and approximately 50 people were trapped in on the beach unable to make it back. After waiting about 30 minutes the water level in the lagoon dropped approximately 1 metre and the water flow slowed enough for people to safely cross. Police, Ambulance and RFS were also in attendance. #waterrescue #wattamollabeach #teamwork

11.01.2022 Saturday 21/11/20 @ 19:31 one of our caring residents noticed an elderly lady locked out of her house with a bunch of shopping bags on her front porch the Good Samaritan tried to open the door with the key given to her by the elderly resident and this didn’t work. The crew of FRNSW Station were called and were able to gain entry, once inside we found the light in the lounge wasn’t working so we replaced that, checked the smoke alarms and helped carry in the groceries. All done and one happy lady to be back in her house.
